As a venezuelan, my heart goes to my colombian neighbors. I unfortunately know from experience how devastating a disaster like this can be.

So for example for scorpion we have "escorpión" (latin) and "alacrán" (arabic), for oil we have "aceite" (arabic) and "óleo" (latin) (although in this case aceite is by far the most common, óleo is only used in very specific context, e.g. when you're talking about oil paintings). Similarly for olive we have "oliva" (latin) and "aceituna" (arabic).
