This discussion is divided into two topics, one about my personas/icons and one about my vent arts ^^ I'll start with my personas first !

I'm not as strict with my art (such as reposting with consent/credits), and ofc taking inspiration from art style (as I give guides sometimes). However, I've also discussed previously not to take my personas, and mimick everything I do, particularly when it's about sensitive topics including my vent arts. So far, I have observed some followers are influenced to a concerning point. While it is at its minimal, its best for me to discuss this early ! ::)

The character I use as an Icon, and the rest such as Quasistar, Nihility, and Pandora, exists way back as vent characters, and they are more than just OCs, as they are fragments of my mind and self to deal with identity disturbance. It took a really long time to sit with this, into developing these characters as my own comprehensive tool. They do not exist separately. Impersonating them is basically just impersonating me. Yes, I use them for fun sometimes but their existence remain the same.

I will be truthful that it irks me whenever I see other artists (whether small or big) use my personas and some duplicated version of these characters into the same narrative, design, or even a " projection " of the same illnesses or whatever... I am not a fictional character ;;/

ABOUT MY VENT ARTS ------

I've been updating tags of my vent arts to lessen its viewers. As I only post it in Tumblr and Facebook. My tumblr started as a vent account and it still exists that way. Back then, there were strong, uncensored pieces and they were in its pure form of negative emotions as I was lost from moral direction in those times. I never had a way to pour emotions out but drawing.

▪︎ Time passes, and my vent arts turn into visually decent, spoken-word pieces, and sometimes even limiting. As I continue with my growth, I try to aim with a hopeful message even if the piece starts negatively. Not because I'm trying to sugarcoat anything, but to blur the meanings lightly if not vague - because I became cautious of the audience. And how audience of this generation consume media and information.

▪︎ I post vent arts because there are people out there who can feel less lonely, who can feel seen with these works, who can be inspired to grow or continue in life.

If you are easily influenced by these vent posts, specifically minors, please do not delve into bad habits just because I have in the past, while you are young, please take care of yourself as best as you can as it takes a toll in the long run. You are worth more than you think, even when you think that the univese is throwing rocks at you. You can be stronger.

To anyone, if these vent artworks turns you to a vulnerable point that it enables you, Block me/Unfollow. It's best to stay away from triggers as well as controling tolerance to stressors.

★ Last notes, please understand that Depression is not just being sad, or feeling weirdly tired and lazy. And BPD is NOT something you can just take label as, inject some character into, etc. it is completely complex and a whole spectrum of severity alongside comorbidities. Whatever it is portrayed at media nowadays does not always reflect real life cases. Any form of ailments are not a joke, nor to be taken lightly, and we must avoid romanticizing it.

Be compassionate instead.
