SO Everyone in the replies and stuff telling me how to repair it, that's super sweet and useful but 1) I'm a seamstress i know how and 2) it's not easily repairable since the fabric is rendered extremely thin by constant and long term friction. And it's not worth the effort of replacing or reinforcing such a big piece of fabric on a jean that is low quality and will rip again later. Easier to just buy another, this bad boy held up for 3 years of very frequent use despite being 40 bucks stretchy fabric! Which is TRAGIC by the way, everything being so low quality... Even expensive stuff, especially brand stuff because the price to quality ratio is abysmal. I try and get and keep things that I can repair and are worth the effort, but it's rare to find and expensive.
