BACKGROUND / BIO
if it wasn’t for her dad, dion wouldn’t have made it out of st marys alive. her mental health was in shock at what happened that night and she couldn’t go another day of acting like nothing happened. so she begged him to leave, all she could do was hope that this will never come back to haunt her. she gave up cheerleading and finished school in california trying her best to put everything and everyone behind her.
dion knew from the moment she entered this world that she was the star in her father's eyes, theo showered her with so much love that she didn't know what to do with it all but it was the complete opposite when it came to her mother. she understood the term mothers are their daughter's worst enemy a little too well because her whole life it felt like dion was in competition with her. anytime her father, gave her any type of affection it came with endless amounts of complains from her mom that it made her want none of it. if dion got something from her dad she had to pretend that it didn't mean the world to her just so that the moment wouldn't be ruined but the look on her dad's face would tell her that that was worse.
then one day, when she came home early from school (college) and heard a noise upstairs, she found amira underneath the married man from next door. was she shocked? of course. but was she surprised by it? not at all. not when she has never seen her mother give her dad an ounce of love. her father always told her that it was because she had rough childhood and didn't know how to really love. all these years, dion and her father dealt with it and this was how she had repaid them. as if that wasn't bad enough, when the divorced happened, amira tried to hurt them by saying that she wasn't his daughter but that didn't change anything. they both knew that they were family.
after that, most of her days were spent with her dad. one of the things she had in common with him was that they both loved to sing and write songs, she learned from him how to tell stories through music. her father wrote songs for so many artist that he was signed with that she lost count. it had always been a dream of dion's to follow in his footsteps but she didn't want be in his shadow. she disguised herself as nova on tiktok so she could play her own music and that lead her to get discovered by a music label. finding that she had more to offer than just her looks. it felt so natural and she didn't know how she never noticed that she was meant for more, that she could go beyond what her looks can take her.
like every high, dion knows that there must be a fall and it was only time that it all came crashing down. she have only wanted to leave the past in the past and forget all about what happened but as her nightmare grow constant, there was no letting go. so she convince her dad to move back, away from her mother. in reality, she found comfort in sharing the nightmare with zeppelin. someone that she had known her entire life and someone she could go to, to talk about what happened.
THIS IS MORE OOC INFORMATION
she's a nepo baby first and foremost but she has a passion for having fun which includes acting here and there but music is very important to her. i would say her dad is somewhat like phil collins (musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and writer) and her music gives of jackson wang vibes. a little chinese and mostly english. her relationship with chris had only started of as being one of her best friend's brother but then it turned into him being somewhat of a brother to her as well. someone that protected her, even from kai who he knew would only make things hard for dion. still, she kept both of them around and even though she acts like chirs wasn't someone she truly cared about, a part of her finds it better not to talk about him at all. it's easier to forget about someone when you aren't thinking about them.
