But like. Was it really all that off-base? I know Lilith only in the last year accepted that she was into incest, and while I didn't appreciate our friend's comment, it was largely because she had an internal panic response to it. Like a "What no we're not into that why would you think we're into that"-type thing.

We didn't fully understand it until a few years ago, but we grew up together. Along with other alters, sure. But when we realized and started scouring our memories, we had this huge rush of mutual love. Because we realized we'd always known each other, always been there for each other, endured the same parental abuse and helped each other through it. We shared everything, except what I could hide away to keep from hurting her.
