so a week ago I was in Melbourne with Maggie. One night we went to this fucking awesome gig (Mount Mocha Kilimanjaro - if you ever get the chance, see them!!). We knew the guys who opened for them, so after the gig we were hanging outside in the loading area. The lead saxophonist from Mount Mocha came out asked us in very broken english of we had any “ganja”. We happily obliged. When who should walk past in his ugly matching tracksuit set but Andy Lee, walking home from the t20 cricket at midnight.

Anyway, he made eye contact with me as he walked past. (Some back story 4 u - from like 2007 I was a devout Hamish and Andy fan. They were my first celeb crush.) My adolescent self had been dreaming of this moment. I had to make sure I said something smart, witty, sexy.
But all my slightly inebriated mind could come up with was "Andy Lee, smoke a joint with me."
Which for a nanosecond I thought was hilarious, because it fucking rhymed. But the look in his eyes was of pure terror, not lust like 14y/o Lily had hoped…
So I’ve been trying to push this memory deep into the corner of my mind, when WHO SHOULD POST A FACEBOOK STATUS TODAY BUT ANDY LEE
