Limba noastră-i o comoară

I’m fighting myself. I know I am. One minute I want to remember. The next minute I want to live in the land of forgetting. One minute I want to feel. The next minute I never want to feel ever again.

[barges into his house and immediately lays down all over the couch] Mircea, do you have any food?

Good to know! I’ll put in the trunk when I leave, though. [He’s off the couch now, following the other into the kitchen, looking around for nothing in particular.]

[He chuckles when Ion follows him into the kitchen, then his face turns to a worry one.] Ah, so I’ve read. Feels like we are ever trapped between larger powers. Seems that we don’t please them in some areas. [A sudden realization comes to mind, bringing him a loud nervous laughter. Some things just don’t change.]

[Ion appears slightly uneasy as he listens to his brother speak, and the laugh at the end does nothing to calm him in that moment.] What’s wrong? Why are you laughing like that?
