"You can call me vain if you want, but my life would be so much easier if I was ugly."
"I don’t understand. That seems contradictory.”
@abluesirensong
It wasn't completely out of the ordinary for Taylor to find strangers lingering around the cove. Most of the time it was because Peter or one of the Lost Boys had lured an unsuspecting human out for dinner, but she knew this was different. One look at the far off stare on the man in front of her told her that this was one of the siren's doings. And when she spotted Blue walking not too far behind him, she pieced everything together pretty quickly with a soft eye roll. "You could at least try to be a little more careful. The sun hasn't even set yet."
Blue was smiling and lazily skipping along behind her next meal. This one had really been too easy. He'd been stupid and shallow and had said something that irked her and so now he was on his way to be her entrée for tonight's dinner. Of course, when she heard Taylor's voice, she scowled in the girl's direction. She momentarily stopped her light singing to say a simple, "I'm hungry."
"Oh believe me, I know I would have." Nico knew everyone in Walt's Landing. He made it his business to know, literally. Tartarus wouldn't have been nearly as successful had he not. "You're looking at the owner." He boasted that fact maybe a little too proudly as he glanced around the club and then back down at her drink. "Please, your next rounds on me. What're you drinking? I bet it's something sweet."
"Owner?" Blue knew what that meant. That meant money! And money, she'd learned, was the key to everything on the surface. She smiled sweetly at Nico, flashing her teeth as she stirred her straw around in circles. "Oh I was just having a tequila sunset I think. I like to try new things every time."
Taylor didn't necessarily hate Blue, but that didn't mean that she liked her. Much like the rest of the sirens that hung around the lagoon that Peter and the Lost Boys frequented, Blue annoyed Taylor. Any other girl that hung around them tended to take the attention away from her, and that was a problem. Rolling her eyes dramatically, Taylor let her head turn towards the other blonde before raising an eyebrow. "I'm looking for Peter. Have you seen him?"
When it came to Taylor, she and Blue pretty much just seemed to stay out of each other's way... for the most part. If Taylor didn't like Blue, well, Blue really didn't care one way or the other. She was just around for amusement, really. Still, the other woman's statement wasn't exactly a surprise. Taylor was always hanging around Peter. "Nope," Blue answered, sipping her drink. "Not tonight, not yet. I'll be sure to give him a kiss for you when I spot him though."

Henley knew it was a dumb idea to piss off a siren, but she couldn't help herself, even after she smelled the rage emanating off of the blonde. "Judging by your stench, nothing good."
Blue's eyes widened and her jaw clenched as she reared back from the insult. Who did this girl think she was? "I'd watch yourself, now."

"Not interested. In... whatever this is." The girl in front of her smelled like fish, which usually spelled out trouble in a town like Walt's Landing.
Blue pouted. Inside she was seething from the rejection, but she played herself off casually. It was their loss, anyways. What did they know? Nothing. "Well you didn't even hear what I had to offer. I'm a little offended."
Nico couldn't hide his smirk as he reached out and shook the woman's hand with a tilt of his head. "It's not often that people still ask me who I am. How endearing." Shaking the blonde woman's hand, he pulled it towards his lips and placed a soft kiss to it before making his way to the other side of the bar. "Nico Dios. And you... I don't think I've seen your face around Tartarus before, Blue."
Blue's head tilted further with intrigue, and she giggled a little to put on an innocent air. "Nico. Fun to meet you." She took a sip from her drink and then leaned forward toward him. "I'm a little new, actually. You'd have remembered me otherwise." She pointed at him lazily. "You a name I should know? You seem important."
Jack was late. It wasn't terribly unlike him recently, given all of the work he was doing to make some real change within the Landing's community of vampires, but Sally was starting to wonder if maybe she was in over her head with trying to be there for him however she could. Doc seemed to think so, at least. Still, she wistfully took a sip of her drink as she rested her chin in her palm and glanced to the girl who was addressing her. "Blue.. Well that's a pretty name. I'm Sally."
The girl sitting next to Blue was pretty. Very pretty, in fact. It cheered Blue up a little, because women were just so... nice. And soft. And so very pretty... Blue's smile widened at the stranger's compliment. "Talk about pretty..." Blue leaned on one hand, her other guiding her drink in front of her so she could take a sip. "You waiting on someone, Sally?"

Ava Gardner in The Killers (1946).
Blue was out tonight. What else was new? She was propped up at the bar and smiling as she sipped from her drink. When someone sat down next to her, she smiled wide and raised her glass as a greeting. "Welcome to Friday Night With Blue." She stuck out her hand, tilting her head. "And you are?"
