HOT TAKE AND UNPOPULAR OPINION:nobody's gonna read this, but I miss when my handsome men were more serious, intimidating and "legendary", now they get seen just as clowns, fundamentally. In the daisy town movie, they had a particular "aura" that was completely absent in the other adaptations, now people just want the Daltons to fail because they are more reassuring, hilarious and "controllable". The Dalton's need to be more intimidating like their historical cousins appeared in "Outlaws"; also, the plot of the comics would be much more interesting than the classical gags.
In these last years Lucky Luke lost his western aura, and so did the Daltons, now they get seen just as something annoying to the lonesome cowboy, not as a real threat. It's also really desolating that Lucky Luke became more childish and too cartoony. Daisy town remains the best product of the Lucky Luke franchise, also for the fact there's a parody of spaghetti western and Ennio Morricone's music.
Like here, just look at them, they look really cool, change my mind.
Now I am ready to be lynched haha.
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID THAT 😭(I was too scared to say it first lol) but I have mixed opinions about it. Of course I enjoy the fact that different times the Daltons are more silly dudes than intimidating criminals, but when they were actually threatening they had such an aura.
Anyways silly dudes, threatening criminals or whatever, I love my babies 🫶🥹💖
Funny how Joe wants to see Lucky Luke dead so much but when Averell was about to kill him, Joe stopped his brother
Mais pourquoi est-il si méchant?
C'était totalement gratuit XD
I hope my baby is having sweet dreams 🥹

do you ever think about Henry and how he probably had repressed feelings of anger towards Ray despite how close they are because of the fact that Ray should have known better than to hire a 13 year old
do you ever think about Ray and how he probably carries a sense of guilt when he thinks about Henry because he realized during the finale that he did almost exactly what his dad did to him
do you ever think about Charlotte and Jasper and how helpless they probably felt watching Henry fall down this path of focusing only on being Kid Danger and skipping school and they couldn't really do anything about it because Henry just wouldn't listen
do you ever think about Piper and the amount of times she watched her brother almost died without knowing it was him and how hard the realization must have hit her when she found out the truth
One of my favorite scenes, i thought it was kinda badass
Mine too, it kinda reminds me the duel Lucky Luke vs The Daltons in the film Daisy Town (1971), my second favorite film. I also really like the 2001 serie and the previous ones
some people will be like “I wonder why fanfic writers don’t share their works anymore😔” and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write — as a hobby, for their own enjoyment — with them for free.
some people really don’t realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you… and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free
“almost 1 year is a lil too much for me” fuck off. fanfic writers don’t owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didn’t act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didn’t update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they don’t owe your entitled ass anything.
you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artist’s love and passion. it’s dystopian.
For comedy reasons, I need someone to leave Ray with a baby and he's just good at it. Like Henry's like "okay this is my cousin I have to babysit but I have this thing so here you go" and he just leaves Ray with the baby and a wink and a "you got this". He returns to Ray holding the baby on one arm sleeping against his chest, he's putting freshly baked cookies onto the table and Henry's like "how are you okay right now? I expected fire in at least three places??" And then Ray's like "you think my dad trusted me on my own? Psh, right." And then that's how we learn that Ray had a babysitting phase.
OK, I need a whole episode about this right now I SWEAR-
Guys can we just discuss that Frankini technically took over Captain Man’s body every single time they saw each other in Henry Danger? Icon.
LIKE FR-
Live & Dangerous: took over Captain Man and Kid Danger's body to make them do weird things for views;
Captain Man-kini: Captain Man and him switched bodies (not a Frankini plan this time, he was forced);
Henry Danger Musical: he forced Captain Man, Kid Danger and the entire Swellview to sing and dance costantly.
FRANKINI SUPREMACY FR💅💅💅💅💅

People get way too bent out of shape when I say Ray Manchester is not a bad person. But he’s not. He’s lonely and horribly misguided in a world he can’t understand. Death is an anomaly to him. That probably changes a person’s brain chemistry in ways we can only imagine.
Do people just ignore the multiple instances the show presents as explanations for the way he is?? Like he's such a tragic character because nothing about his life is normal. He doesn't understand ANYTHING about child development / what's normal for them because he has absolutely nothing to base it off of, not even himself. And he'd probably try to read up on it if he wasn't half illiterate due to his purposefully stolen education - he was never even taught HOW to research.
He understands the concept of school yet probably has no idea how it operates on a functional level, so when Henry shows up and does his job he probably just assumes he has it covered. He never got an education and he doesn't see the actual extent of how that trapped him - he was never given a choice so he doesn't consider that Henry has one.
He was so distraught over Henry wanting to leave him because he deals with his own issues around loneliness and abandonment. Henry's years as Kid Danger were probably the best years in his life and now he's being told that he hates it all? That's gonna hurt. And yes, he's immature about it but considering no one was ever around to even teach him the concept of emotional regulation he's still playing catch-up.
He was so obviously failed by everyone in his life that the only thing that genuinely inspires him to be better is the kids. Danger Force shows him spiralling out of control yet later pick himself up and become better. He repairs his relationship with Henry (though I doubt it was that damaged in the first place considering their talk at the funeral and Henry's obvious habit of ghosting literally anyone who he doesn't see on the daily) and is instead seen more as the "insane quirky boss they have to keep track of". Because those kids understand how damaged he is. People forget he had his autonomy stripped from him at the age of 8. That's younger than anyone else in the series. He never even had the chance of half a childhood like the others did. He thinks Piper's 7 when she's 12, he's never ridden a bike and has already paid and prepared his Father's burial plot. He's not ok and he never has been, he's a deeply unwell man who unconsciously dragged other kids into the same life he was cursed to, and then when confronted with it lashed out because he realised he's a reflection of his own Father.
rising from the dead to say that this is probably the BEST analysis / understanding of his character that I've seen in such a long fucking time oh my LORD im so glad that there's still ray manchester understanders out in this world
So, this is, like, not technically related to this, but
Well, it kinda is
I love, love, love, LOVE Frankini (he’s my favorite villain no matter what anyone says), and my favorite episodes are the musical
Is it weird to say that I kinda see the musical as, like
Ray struggling with what it means to “do the right thing” for probably the badillionth time in his life?
Frankini’s already a character that pisses Ray off. He’s young and spunky, Ray is old and tired. Frankini does what he wants (usually shitty things) without consequence, Ray is constantly scrutinized by those around him (even though he tries his damn best to be a hero because it is all he was ever really taught to be).
Ray is used to just physically handling his problems (harassment, fighting, temper tantrums) until they go away. He is kinda still stuck as an 8-year-old.
And Frankini’s immature, too, but again, HE GETS PRAISE for that, because it’s probably seen as just being “quirky” or whatever.
Basically, I noticed that in the musical, Ray LITERALLY SAYS, “I can’t punch or kick my way out of this problem” after fleeing from Swellview.
And when Henry goes and gets him back and reminds him of all the times he’s won, he does it the most fitting way he can, THROUGH A DUDEBRO PEP-TALK FRIENDSHIP BALLAD.
RAY IS USED TO LIVING IN AN ACTION MOVIE WHERE THE ONLY EMOTIONS ANYONE SHOWS ARE ANGER AND CALLOUSNESS.
AND THEN BY THE VERY END, HE REALIZES THAT WHEN YOU GET PUT INTO A MUSICAL, SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO SING THE FINALE.
@tbhmanchester @jasperandhenryslovechild @unblissfulawareness Please tell me this makes sense to at least one of yall, this was technically a thinly veiled attempt to just scream about how good of a villain Frankini is, not because the man can physically mess you up, but because he will get under your skin and stay there like a glittery tapeworm until time immemorial.
YES I LOVE THIS SM!! #! #! #!
i think the musical definitely serves to give ray a lot more emotional vulnerability that we don't see in him often or at all before then; he's always used to being strong enough to defuse a problem with his fists but with feelings? ur practically speaking a different language because his upbringing caused him to be too emotionally distraught to even process that kind of an issue; his captain man facade only goes as far as his exterior but inside he's not buying himself at ALLL dawg
u also say how frankinis like opposites but not with ray and i also like that a lot because i hadnt rlly thought about it like that before!! theyre similar in their immaturity but theyre also different in the way they play it out and how it works out for them in the end and i think that, further than like his strength or whatever, makes him a harder villain for him to fight
frankini is weird and loud and singsongy and unapologetically himself, but how is someone who doesn't even know what his true self is (too clouded by expectations and triumphs to surpass and his own moral complexities in between) supposed to go against him? instead of being a genuinely hard villain to fight in general (in which i do NOT think he is, see s4 ep 13 captain man-kini for ref because frankinis fighting skills aren't great at all there.....), he's a hard villain to fight FOR RAY. he's everything ray ISN'T (except gay, theyre both that) and it's so so so interesting to me now that you put it like that
thank you so much @propranksterpropaganda (WHY IS IT NOT @-ING YOU CORRECTLY?? I'M GONNA TWEAK.) for this post because you got my feeble mush brain thinking about them in a different light YIPPEE!! #!!! $
i LOVE the way your brain works dawg
Being a writer is so inconvenient at times, because why does my brain drop a perfect piece of dialogue/exposition/world building explaination right as I'm about to brush my teeth?
Now I have to go rush to my phone and write it down before it's lost forever in the realm of forgotten thoughts
Like? I wanted to brush my teeth...
Dude, for real like the best plot wist ideas and dialogues always show up in my mind right after going to bed. And then I tell myself: "For the whole fvcking day I haven't had any ideas and now that I just want to sleep I have to write down the entire dialogue/plot twist because otherwise I'll fvcking forget it!!!! 😭😭😭"
Or when it happens in class. One day my teacher was talking about something and then suddenly I had an idea to make the queen in my story die. My teacher asked me why I seemed distracted and I just said: 'nothing' 🥲
Have you ever felt that feeling when you're so damn disgusted/horrified by someone's actions that no word existing can fully express how you feel about it?
Reblog if you don't use Generative AI to write fanfics/original fics or to create fanart/original art.
Did the Daltons really kill that child?? 😭😭
(It's from "Hors la loi" so the Daltons I'm talking about are Bob, Grat, Bill and Emmett)

About the McMillan twins(forgotten hill)
So, I was overthinking again...
In the third axis, we have the adoption papers/birth certificates of the children, right? It is said that the twins are from April 23, 1877, but in forgotten hill disillusionment, in the family book it says that Owen and Agnes got married and had twins in the same year... Well according to my calculations, the twins would have to be 'made' at least the year before, right? Something between August or so in the year 1876, which was when Camille was born(August 25th 1876)...
What's my theory? Simple! Owen probably didn't like that his younger, weaker brother had a wife and heir before him (even though Camille was a girl and back then that wasn't a good thing) or maybe the twins aren't even his and he only agreed to get married because it would be a scandal in the family(a 28 year old pregnant woman without a husband in the 1870's? Not good) and also because he needs to get married soon and be better than his brother since he was the oldest and the authoritarian one.
But that's just me being crazy.
IT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE-
I hope we'll find out more about McMillan family one day
Have you heard the news? The release date of Servant of the Lake moved from Spring 2026 to August 2026. But it doesn't matter, I'll patiently wait ☺️☺️ My expectations for the game are even higher now
