HOT TAKE AND UNPOPULAR OPINION:nobody's gonna read this, but I miss when my handsome men were more serious, intimidating and "legendary", now they get seen just as clowns, fundamentally. In the daisy town movie, they had a particular "aura" that was completely absent in the other adaptations, now people just want the Daltons to fail because they are more reassuring, hilarious and "controllable". The Dalton's need to be more intimidating like their historical cousins appeared in "Outlaws"; also, the plot of the comics would be much more interesting than the classical gags.
In these last years Lucky Luke lost his western aura, and so did the Daltons, now they get seen just as something annoying to the lonesome cowboy, not as a real threat. It's also really desolating that Lucky Luke became more childish and too cartoony. Daisy town remains the best product of the Lucky Luke franchise, also for the fact there's a parody of spaghetti western and Ennio Morricone's music.
Like here, just look at them, they look really cool, change my mind.
Now I am ready to be lynched haha.
I'd like to thank the romance languages and the buco di viso
Dalton Brothers in a flower field cuz they deserve flowers and love💞💞💞💞💞💞
My redraw of guts in the berserker armor!
⚠️Warning⚠️ severe spoilers on Berserk and Lucky Luke endings
I have just leaked the berserk and lucky Luke endings, don't worry, either Joe or guts will control their inner beasts🥀🥀🥀💔💔💔
Well, as there are Guts×Griffith shippers, I am not wondered that there are even people who ship Luke and Joe for the meme🤣🤣🤣🤣

Do you see the Daltons as Joe-William-Jack-Averell or Joe-Jack-William-Averell? The order sometimes changed
I see the order of the comics: Joe, William, Jack and Averell.
Thoughts on the announcement on Lucky Luke in Welcome to Fanga Town
It's really curious how everyone here asks me about all lucky Luke adaptations, I appreciate it :)
Anyway, when I have heard about it I couldn't believe my eyes and I thought that the world was gonna explode In that moment; the CGI doesn't look that bad on him, I appreciate how they created the textures and the expressions, it was not foregone.
The plot looks promising, even though I don't have so many expectations for this movie, because I am pretty sure there will be childish gags and predictable scenes. I hope there will be the TikTok, Instagram, YT parodies too lmao
I am 99,999% sure there will be also the Daltons, I AM TOO CURIOUS TO SEE THEIR DESIGNS I CAN'T WAIT, they are too important for the franchise not to be included there!!!!
Personal take moment: For me it doesn't matter if I have to wait until 🤯2029🤯 (I will be 24 years old lol👵🏼), so many things will change in my life before that year, my life is full of plot twists and surprises, but I will always be sure that this movie is waiting for me, and it's really comforting❤️❤️❤️❤️, this franchise always returns In my life and this makes me jubilant.
FINALLY A LUCKY LUKE ANIMATED MOVIE, WE HAVE WAITED FOR SO LONG, MAYBE THIS FANDOM WILL GET A BIT BIGGER AND MAYBE FINALLY ALIVE, I am really REALLY curious to know what the heck will happen in these years!!!
Vent post:
Back in 2019, at 14 years old, i dreamt about the Daltons escaping from prison during a tremendous thunderstorm, causing a fire that would have been ended with the rain. After the bloody rain, it would have appeared a red and golden full moon in a starless pitch black sky. The four bandits, dressed in white with covered faces, saw a little house at the bottom of a hill and decided to reach it; I could feel the Daltons theme from the animated movie Daisy Town (1971), they entered the house and I woke up.
The Daltons wore their classical outlaw clothes with munitions, weapons and wide capes, their hands and arms were covered in blood, stinky and dirty bandages; their eyes had a red sclera and the iris were golden like the coyotes eyes in the darkness, I could see their vitreous eyes in the dreams had during the darkest moments of my life, I felt so much pity for them.
You can see four digital fanarts and an oil painting portraying them as the four horsemen of apocalypse, that painting is so personal: I have put so much of myself Into it and it's oddly comforting to me.
What's your favorite Lucky Luke animated movie? Mine's "The Ballad of the Daltons" btw
Thank you for this incredible question, I have a special bond with the Lucky Luke animated movies.
At 9 years old I believed that Go West would have been my favorite ever, but actually that movie is not that close to my soul; the best movies of the entire Lucky Luke saga are the Ballad of the Daltons and Daisy Town, it is really hard to choose between them, both of them are scrumptious animated pieces, but if I had to choose one is Definitely Daisy Town.
If the ballad of the Daltons Is one of my comfort movies, the one which made me fall in love with the western genre is the 1971 Belvision movie; even though the story is really simple and pretty banal, it is perfect for the Lucky Luke's first time at cinema, the musics are perfect, especially the one of the duel between the Daltons and Lucky Luke, I love how it recalls of the Genius Ennio Morricone (and i know Ennio Morricone since I have memory). The duel scene is a simply perfect parody of the Western iconic duels, though it has only one flaw: the ending is pretty disappointing and dull bruh, it made me say "meh" cuz I believed that Lucky Luke and Jolly cheated while the Daltons have trained, it genuinely pissed me off.
The Daltons in this movie are really close to actual intimidating bandits, when they appear for the first time they have something special: something that made me fall for them, they looked pretty "badass" and amusing at the same time, the 10 years old me couldn't resist🦋🦋🦋🦋
In this pic they look out of this world, everytime I look at it I remain enchanted...
Them. Just them. My handsome men.🦋💞✨
The ending is simply desolating and bittersweet, but somehow philosophic to me.
Do you know Jeffrey Kitsch?
Are you kidding? I LOVE that YouTuber! I will be super honest telling you that the Daltons famous video inspired me to watch his channels, I am totally serious when I say that that video is one of the best video about the silly brothers, and his videos about the Lucky Luke albums are simply awesome; I deeply esteem him as YouTuber, I wish there were MUCH MORE YouTubers that talk about this incredible franchise.
The Daltons character chronicles is excellent, funny, clear and simple at the same time, and it demonstrates how important are the Daltons for the franchise.

All of a sudden... another random ask! Two actually!
What Lucky Luke album/episode is your favorite?
If you were going to make a crossover between Lucky Luke and another IP, what would it be?
1) my favorite stories are the Daltons loot, Ma Dalton, Outlaws, the Daltons escape, the Painter (I adore Remington paintings), Fingers and MAAAAANY others
2) I'd create a crossover between Lucky Luke and Asterix, or Lucky Luke and Bud and Terence movies or Lucky Luke and the good, the band and the ugly and finally Lucky Luke, Cocco Bill and Tex Willer!
Suddenly... a random ask!
The most interesting one-off Lucky Luke villain?
The one-off villain I prefer the most is Eliot Belt from the bounty hunter, because I adore the fact he's a charicature of Angel eyes from "the Good, the Bad and the Ugly", one if my favorite movies ever and one of the greatest movies in the whole human History; I loved the book where he meets Lucky Luke as it's like an incredible crossover to me; I really hope he'll appear again in the future adventures as he has a lotta potential.
I decided to create a copy of this painting as this is one of the rarest oil paintings that perfectly captures my exact idea of the Biblical Horsemen, I hope you are going to like it <3
Plus, back in 2023 I also wanted to draw the Dalton brothers as the four horsemen in the desert, it's my very first drawing on procreate
what are your thoughts on the new Lucky Luke series
⚠️⚠️WARNING, CONTAINS SPOILERS ON THE LUCKY LUKE LIVE ACTION SERIES⚠️⚠️
I couldn't wait to see the new Lucky Luke series, I honestly was so impatient to see the newest scenes with the Dalton brothers, the costumes look more "realistic" than the ones from the "Les Dalton" live action (2004), even the actors seemed to be more acccurate.
The plot is interesting, I really have appreciated every single scene as there was a plot twist every five minutes, I love that this series is fundamentally a love story between Luke and Charlie, and if we consider Joe too it might look like a love triangle.
Louise's character had so much potential and it got used really really well, I always shipped her with Billy.
I loved the third episode not just because the Daltons and their Ma' appeared, but also because it took some details from the albums, like the Joe's amnesia that comes from the Daltons amnesia (l'amnesie Des Dalton) and the birthday's flashback is too adorable, I felt the feminine urge to draw them fighting with the cake, my precious boys <3333. I genuinely did not expect Joe pretending to be Louise's father, but the moment when he confesses all the truth to Louise melts my heart, and when Louise asks Joe if he misses his brothers melts me, as it shows that Joe and his brothers bond is literally unbreakable. They should have taken all the brothers together for the entire series, they would have had an enormous potential and possibly the scenes might have been funnier.
Joe Dalton best character by the way, he loved Charlie but he respects the fact that she loves another man (his enemy), honourable man.
The fifth episode genuinely broke my heart for every single memories that it is shown
I didn't not expect so much swears from the characters, in my opinion they weren't necessary, I honestly believed they wanted to seem more mature or something else, I didn't really appreciate that.
Calamity Jane best woman in the entire Lucky Luke universe. Change my mind.
I also wanted Jesse James to be there, it's also one of the most known characters of the comics too!
I watched the entire series In only two days and every single Instant gave me goosebumps, I totally advice it.
holy macaroni... no way...

Thoughts on Go West?
The first time I saw Go West was the December 25th 2014, when I was 9 years old, I couldn't wait to finally see my very first animated Lucky Luke movie.
It is animated perfectly, the expressions and the goofy and exaggerated poses of characters are something else! In my opinion Xilam did well to add the Daltons too (in the original comic, "la caravane" they weren't present), cuz they knew their immense and magnificent potential, everything they do is literally a cartoony and goofy work of art. To be brutally honest my favorite part of the movie is when they rob the Wall Street banks and the crazy escape from the whole police of NYC on the Brooklyn Bridge. Ah yes, and I also adore the soap gun scene too. Absolute cinema.
The other characters are unforgettable, like Piotr, Ugly Barrow, the french barber, Bones and the teacher, and the moment when she kicks Joe getting insane is literal girl power🎀✨.
Talking about the mythical Jolly Jumper, I always shipped him with Louise (the brown mare).
Talking about Crook and Bartleby, I initially didn't like them as I found them pretty irritating, but rewatching the movie again, again and again I appreciated them more as they have an immense potential.
The musics capture perfectly the animation too, the backgrounds are spectacular; some animations are so exaggerated that look almost "brutal", like the mine scene where Joe goes against the rocks, when I saw that scene I was laughing my ass off for the absurdity and """"violence"""" of that moment, like damn my Dalton boys literally survive ANYTHING.
Talking about the Daltons, I think they are the best characters of the entire saga, they are a literal mine of gold, they're creative, amusing, explosive, goofy, unpredictable, mythical and never fail to make me smile and laugh; there's only one thing I didn't appreciate: Joe's outrage and Averell's clumsiness and stupidity were too exaggerated, too charicatural, and Joe is literally insane, unlike the first movies where he could control himself more, while William and Jack got forgotten as usual, bruh they deserve a personality and more attention too (I loved the scene where Jack lends his iron ball to the Italian woman lol, poor man).
This is not one of the most important or the greatest animated movies for sure, but it's monstrously underrated, but most importantly it's
WILD AND CRAZY AS HELL.
I totally advice this movie for people who love comedies, animation and adventure movie, if I had to rate this movie it would be a 8/10.
fuckim cold
