Oh, is your whole "Words mean things" post about Patricia Taxon sending threats to people? Like, yeah, she's been part of a harassment campaign. A campaign to send harassment to other trans people. She's been posting about hating trans men for a while now. She is the exact kind of person you were saying not to lionize.
As a nonbinary transmasc person it has been fucking torture to watch well-meaning but hurt trans guys unwittingly pile on to the harassment Patricia was receiving over and over and over again by trying to explain transmisandry to someone who was *very fucking clearly* the subject of a kiwifarms style abuse campaign that was *weaponizing transmascs against her.*
So many of the anons she was getting were so clearly astroturfed and describing themselves as transmascs because if they could provoke her into lashing out at a vulnerable group they could get her canceled and get her ostracized from trans tumblr, and I watched again and again as random transmascs who wouldn't recognize bait if it slapped them in the face got drawn in trying to explain their marginalization and walked away bewildered and hurt when their messages were reacted to like they were part of a harassment campaign. Because they were! If you messaged Patty trying to explain transmisandry while she was fielding hundreds of messages calling her a transmisandrist racist pedophile abuser and using her history of trauma and ostracazation to abuse her, congrats! You were a useful idiot who was successfully weaponized against a trans woman and you're coming into my inbox to describe her response of saying "these specific people are tormenting me, doesn't anybody see this" a harassment campaign.
When I said that if we were to ban callout posts, that ban would be used to report people describing their abuse as doing harmful callouts, *this* this ask, you, Anon, specifically, is exactly the behavior I was describing.
You are either malicious and using my blog to try to spread further lies about Patty (lies that are already widespread, which is the only reason I'm answering this ask) or you're being fucking stupid. I do not agree with the things that Patty had been saying about transmascs when she was reacting to this campaign, but I am old enough and experienced enough that I can recognize the exact same abuse model that has been on display against trans women on the internet as long as trans women have been on the internet. That also means that I can see that the trans woman having a bad time is not my enemy, the people using the torment nexus to goad her into screaming at them are my enemy.
Fix your hearts or die.
In case you are reading this and you are brand new to this kind of violence, you homework is to read Hot Allostatic Load in its entirety and then reread "Resisting Disposability" and think about ways that you can make sure your friends who are trans women know that you love them and make sure you know how to reach them outside of this site so that if a girl you love does get mobbed and burned, you are there to let her know that she's not trash and you're not letting her get thrown away.
Patty, I love you. You don't know me, I didn't really say much on your blog, but I love you, and I hate that this has happened to you, and I'll be seeing you on YouTube and Bandcamp and in the sunshine you deserve.
If you don't know who Patricia Taxxon is, if you've only ever seen her name associated with discourse or whisper campaigns, there are a lot of facts about her that I could list off (she's a musician, she's a video essayist, she's a furry, she's a youtuber, she's funny) to describe her, but I don't know that any of that would make her a person on a a site where people have been trying so hard to unperson her, so I'd like you to see her in joy and in friendship, and if this is your introduction to her I want it to be a good one. I can't believe this is how I'm finding out that I got a scam forklift cert.
I took the cargo ops class at school but my teacher explained that it doesn't give a certification and I'd only be okay for ship's crane and the school forklifts. she said I could take an online exam and get my cert. I paid 60 bucks.
I'm googling and I'm seeing a lot of resources saying that the online programs cover the classroom part of the exam but not the in person practical aspect.

but I did the in person practical shit at school.
the back of the card even had fancy numbers on it. I couldn't have known that this isn't the one. this website sounded more official than certifyme.net, and there wasn't one with a .gov address.
so, I emailed OSHA, and they said that so long as I live and work in California, there's no such thing as forklift certification. I have to be told how to do it every time I get the job.
Update: I took a certification class in shipboard Material Handling Equipment at my federal job. *now* I'm forklift certified, but only on ships and piers and only for this company, but also rated to forklift explosives and hazardous materials. Also I'm a woman now.
