The horrendous work in progress of my last post. It had one hell of an "ugly phase"

Painting of Meda from my wip novel Heart of the Sun. This was a real “trust the process” painting. Total time was like 5 1/2 hrs

Did some novel character sketches. Anyway, this is Andromeda Faraday and her pony, Squall. She's one of the two POV characters in my WIP novel "Heart of the Sun," After a failed assassination attempt on Prince Aurelius' life which leaves Meda Faraday's father dead, Meda is set on a quest to restore honor to her family by killing the man who killed her father, during their months long journey tracking down the assasin, Meda learns some uncomfortable truths about the lousy drunk that was her Father and a plot he may have been a part of some thirty years ago.

I usually don't do fanart but today I took a crack at it.

This is actually getting somewhat easier as I continue. Anywho, this is Hicarion. He's a lot of things: a bird, an immortal, the father of three gods, but right now, he's just unimpressed with my fashion sense.

Eventually, Aurel asked to leave the faewild. Elindra refused until he agreed to take her on as his patron. Along with came Cannoli Emberwing, a little faerie dragon who has been Aurel’s friend since childhood under the guise of making sure he didn’t “get himself killed.” Despite the threats of exile, she left her Flight to be Aurel’s long suffering travel partner. (Yea I’ve got some head canon stuff about faerie dragons, Dw about it)
