Quite a while ago, someone requested a version of Ginger's Dance Tile with my animations so here it is plus a new animation for it. Like the original tile, dances usually play based on personality, mood, and some require certain skills.
Outgoing sims will twerk, playful sims will do the jump dance, neutral personality sims will do the hip dances, and sims with no body skill will do the bopping up and down dance. The shy animations are the same as the original. I might make some shy dances in the future.
Like the original tile, music needs to be on before your sims can dance
You need 2 body skill to do the tik tok dance
you need 6 body skill and 4 charisma to do the twerk freestyle
you need 7 body skill to break dance
Lastly, I changed the price to 0 and removed the energy and hygiene drain.

Hello! This is the third and last neighborhood of the BG Purist Hoods I'm going to release! Veronaville had many quirks I have not previously met in other neighborhoods that I had to study quite a lot to get right. It has been rather exhausting- but I have thankfully been helped by @lionwolficemagma, @cricket-sims and @f1shart, whom I give all my heart to. Thank you so, so much guys! This would've been so slow without your help. Lots of love.
General Overview
All ancestors are resurrectable and everyone is here: unless you pick the no townies version, you will have all the characters that come originally with the neighborhood.
No age has been modified (minus one exception), as I worked on memories more to make them line up with the Eaxis Canon better than before. All characters will have their default set of days remaining in their lifespan, unless you use a lifespan mod. I tried to be as purist as I could.
The Hood has never been initialized in-game and is compatible with any system (Windows, Linux, MacOS), game version or expansion pack (Legacy Collection as well). Scripted events work as well.
Reduced size on hard drive by deleting many useless things inside character files.
This took me so long to do, I might release a version with extras in another moment. Stay tuned, I might post updates on how it's going!

Changes
All junk flags have been cleared. Removed the dreaded family flags and ensured people who are actually family recognize each other. Also no relationships to Universal NPCs whatsoever.
Hidden relationships have been rectified and removed.
Everyone has been re-linked and missing data has been restored thanks to the recreations by carrit on ModTheSims.
Fitness flags have been cleared where they made no sense.
Fixed fitness bar being mismatched. Now no deceased person will have it maxed out!
All empty personalities have been filled. I based myself on the convention used for townies.
Blank Zodiac Signs have been restored.
The Power aspiration has been removed and substituded with the Aspirations corresponding to the Astrological Signs of the bearers.
Family Trees now respect the actual birth order of the Capp teens/Monty teens and Capp adults.
Olivia Monty's pregnancy has been fixed and the father linked is Claudio. She will give birth in around five Sim hours.
Patrizio and Isabella's pension has been changed to the one corresponding to level 10 Culinary Career, as they have been promoted nine times in total and reached that level. The career is also specified, instead of there being none.
Patrizio and Isabella now have how many days old they are restored.
Patrizio, Mercutio and Isabella have been given the right skills needed for their careers.
Bianca and Antonio's ages have been swapped, so now he has 23 days left and she has 18. I based myself on the Storytelling pictures. I pinky promise I changed ages only here, so every other member is still unreasonably young despite already having children. Why is left to player interpretation.
Many characters had extra faces inside their character file (record is Benedick with 38). I've removed the old, unused ones.
Broken and borked faces have been fixed, such as the ancestor ladies with sabertooth and Hal Capp. Thanks to Khaemwaset on ModTheSims.
Cordelia, Caliban and Consort no longer have that extra png that scarily pops up in SimPE instead of their current one.
Catalogue Description oddities have been fixed.
All memories that were missed were added and the ones in the wrong order were re-ordered.
Claudio Monty, Olivia Monty, Hero Monty, Caliban Capp, Cordelia Capp and Contessa Capp now have memories of their life.
Genetics have been fixed and restored where they were completely missing.
Family Bin Families now have the right amount of money.
Removed physical death tokens.
Ancestors no longer have memory of a deceased sim that doesn't exist.
Extras
All premades and dead premades are now babyfaced. Thanks a lot to @ash1c (I hope I mentioned the right account this time my bad bro) for keeping an eye and helping with the process <3
All sims have heterozygous genes where it was possible to give those to them.
Sims now have correct astrological signs.

A Note on Memories
The most tedious thing to do has been fixing all the memories given (or not) to playables. Everyone was missing almost everything and the few memories actually there were either in a very bad order or completely swapped with those of other characters. No remembering when other family members grew up, forgetting best friends, forgetting who's who...
The Summerdream Family was missing relationship flags and they had half of their memories swapped with each other (example: Oberon recalled becoming best friends with Puck, but that was actually Titania, and flags weren't even properly set despite all the requirements being there).
I have tried my best to be as neutral as possible, but some memory placement just had to be assumed as I had literally nothing to start from. I apologize and accept any suggestion on how to improve them.
I've been getting a lot of asks about my Café Mod recently, things about mod compatibility mostly, which has been fun! Always great to revisit this mod. As a result I have made some important and helpful changes and updates to the mod 😊 Info under the cut!
Firstly, I think I figured out why foods would sometimes randomly go "off" and get spoiled while in the display cases when you load into a lot, even though they weren't supposed to! So I've updated the TA_CafeMod_Main file with some important updates there. Make sure you download the latest version and replace that file!
Secondly, I have some new compatibility patches for you all, mostly around this BHAV:

If you want to use either Midge's Cake Stand, PlatinumAspiration's Cake Stand, OR both, please make sure you have the file called Z_TA_CompPatch_CafeMod_CakeStands
You'll also want to have my TA_CafeMod_Main file loading AFTER the original cake stand files. This is important for that "Interaction - Eat - Grab a Plate" BHAV.
I know that load order can be really confusing, so make sure that you check with HCDU+ which mods are loading in which order!
It should be
1. Midge's Cake Stand and/or PlatAsp's Cake Stand
2. TA_CafeMod_Main
3. TA_CompPatch_CafeMod_CakeStands
Then

Sul sul! Here are some fixes for my hairs. A lot of my previously edited texture's were extremely crusty because I was missing the propper DDS Utilities toolkit, and some of my earlier defaults had some other issues with things such as optimization or colours that I felt were less ideal (i.e., my preference for dark brown over light brown swatches).
All versions of my defaults will still be available at their original links (see my tag here), but this post will serve as a comprehensive fix for all defaults before this point. Going forward, my future hair defaults will be checked to make sure they fit the same quality standards.

Hi everyone, I think everybody knows the Clean UI mod made by greatcheesecakepersona . The mod comes with a colourful hair color category, so I modified this category and added another hair category. With this mod you have 2 new hair colors, Bright Red and Light Brown. It supposed to work with the Clean UI cas by replacing some files of the mod.
Some observations:
it`s not exactly two new colors, but replace the streaked and custom hair bins with bright red and light brown swatches
work for toddlers, kids, teens, ya adults and adults
the colors are Bright Red and Light Brown
it doesn't work in sims bodyshop
to bin any hair use:
00000005-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 for L-Brown
00000021-4000-0000-0000-000000000000 for B-Red
I didn't made any recolours of the default hairs made by maxis, but I will share some recolours of the hairs shared by me in the past
after you make a sim in the cas, it could be necessary to fix their brows in the mirror
like the hair, you could make these recolours for beard and brows, but the bright red button could be complicated to select in the mirror

Sims 2 Mod: Functional Umbrella for “Immersive Rain”
I combined the “Immersive Rain mod” by @bstu with the Umbrella prop by Adele and Decorgal and added some things to it.
I did this for my game because I wanted to have functional umbrellas, like what Sims 3 and 4 have. It’s not a perfect mod, but I’m happy with it, if you have suggestions or want to make your own version please do it.
HOW TO USE IT
The Umbrella object is in the Decorative/Miscellaneous category. Put it in the inventory of your sim, you can give it away to non-playable sims too and they will use the umbrella when it rains. It works with any sim from child to elder.
I made 4 versions to add Color Traits compatibility and Mermaid Trait compatibility (which the original Immersive Rain doesn’t include)
REQUIREMENT for the Color version: Easy Inventory Check and the color traits of course.
If you already have the “Immersive Rain mod” or the Umbrella objects from Adele/Decorgal you have to REPLACE them with this.

Note: The default color of the Regular version is Red, the default color of the Color version is Gray (if your sim doesn’t have a favorite). I couldn’t link the original recolors of Adele’s umbrella with the mod, so it can’t pick that up.
EXTRA DOWNLOAD, a manual interaction to use or close the umbrella, only appears when the sim have the umbrella in their inventory.

Originally I was going to make this for personal use only but figured someone else would want this as well. @squaretable-sims said he was ok with me posting edits of his work as long as there's credit due, so here I am. More details and download below.
There's a few differences from the original neighborhood, mostly fixes from the documented bug list:
I changed the cherry blossom trees back to the original willow tree color because it didn't have seasonal states.
Added a kitchen sink to the BFF house and a fire alarm.
Changed the plate glass window frames in the Spencer-Kim-Lewis house to white (although in my end only a couple of them had a different color than white. Probably has to do with the fact I have CEP installed? Let me know if the issue persists)
Fixed the chimney issue in the Oakenstead lot, also moved some things around to resemble the original house more.
I abstained from making any more changes because I plan to make my own version of the hood (which again, was thought for personal use) using Square's as a base.
I also took the time (not a lot really) to make a subhood version.

The Goth Family
The Goths are an aristocratic family with a dreary aura. Between Mortimer writing macabre stories and Bella's mysterious disappearances will Cassandra grow up to be gloomy, too? And what's up with Alexander, who turned out to be a prodigy overnight?
Like the original Willow Creek made by @squaretable-sims, this neighborhood got 4 playable families, 12 residential lots (3 empty) and 10 community lots (5 + 1 extra from Willow Creek and 3 + 1 empty lot from Magnolia Promenade). Terrain made by @welasko of course.

PHEWWWWW, I've been working on this for nearly a year!!! Making custom neighborhoods is TOUGH, mad respect for those who pull out neighborhoods like a bakery - I could never! But I really wanted to make my version of Willow Creek for my own timeline save file, I even went and made a version of this neighborhood without the Goths but that's for personal use as it's pretty outdated - if there's enough demand, I might post it for you guys.
If you have the game in any other language other than English, chances are that the names will get randomized! To fix this, use this mod.
Also!! Keep in mind this neighborhood is based off the 2025 update, so all houses are not the same as BG release.

These days I spent lots of time fixing lot skirt shader - and it turned into something more. I was to rewrite many game shaders to get consistent look of terrain and snow, and now, it's ready to be published!
Attempted to fix inconsistent lighting, implemented transparent lot skirt roads - so that they match the rest of lot skirt terrain, more and more!
Improvements

I'm shocked by the results of this poll, honestly.
I HIGHLY recommend this Catalog Cleanup Mod by Phaenoh:
A set of mods that will rearrange a lot of Maxis items to be easier to find.
I can't imagine trying to find things in the vanilla Maxis catalog. They really threw every single thing into Deco/Sculptures or Deco/Misc and called it a day.
I'm working on my own Cleanup mod of the build/buy catalog and I'll show visual comparisons between my mod and Phaenoh's once mine is done so that people can decide which one they want to download (or if they want to to stick to maxis' chaotic organization for some reason...)
I've used Phaenoh's mod for a very long time and I do love it!
