XSTECH HAIR FIXES
Sul sul! Here are some fixes for my hairs. A lot of my previously edited texture's were extremely crusty because I was missing the propper DDS Utilities toolkit, and some of my earlier defaults had some other issues with things such as optimization or colours that I felt were less ideal (i.e., my preference for dark brown over light brown swatches).
All versions of my defaults will still be available at their original links (see my tag here), but this post will serve as a comprehensive fix for all defaults before this point. Going forward, my future hair defaults will be checked to make sure they fit the same quality standards.

unsure if this is something many others know about but thought i wld make a little post about it since i've never heard of it before! i just discovered The Sims Resource Downloader made by Xientra on github - automatically downloads any sims resource link you copy to clipboard, so you don't have to go through the annoying wait times!
it took a little bit of fiddling to get it to work (windows + steam deck instructions are on the github page but i use linux mint so was slightly different for me, + had an issue with the captcha which there is a temporary solution for in the 'issues' tab) but now i'm able to download anything from tsr without hassle! this + adblock makes it an actually semi useable website lol

A Recreation of the Sims Livin’ Large‘s ‘Suds du Solei’ Tub + Associated Toilet and Sink for the Sims 2
Oof, I’ve had this project laying about for literally years :x
I’ve not much to say about the tub. It costs 2000§, the same as the original object.
The toilet takes some of its features from the toddler potty: it will fill up over time and have to be emptied into the trash or compost. This clean up can be done by NPCs as well as active sims.
Though I used ‘moveobjects on’ on the preview picture, the ‘sink’ (bowl and pitcher) is to be placed on a table or desk. It’s been edited to remove as many irrelevant faucet animations as I could.
The toilet and sink are texture referenced to the tub, but do not use the traditional object repository technique. Instead, I’ve done it using Skell’s technique for clothing. This is only relevant if you plan to recolour them.

WITCH DEFAULTS
Sul sul! Here is a compilation of some witchy defaults! All require The Sims 2: Apartment Life in order to work. All are for women, except for the face overlays which are unisex and will replace male witches too.
Before I start with these downloads, I just want to say that I finally fixed the textures for my fem witch hair defaults here! The defaults from V2 and V3 are no longer crusty! The previews still show the crust, but I promise you I have updated the files on SimFileShare and Simblr.CC (but NOT MediaFire, which I no longer use), so please redownload! V1 was not updated since those ones weren't crusty.
Sadly, only one of these sets are for the full ufbodywitch, since only one of the dresses I liked was available for teens... I included a combined uf and a separated tf version so you can mix-and-match still! The colours were chosen to match my hair defaults. Please click “read more” for credits and other important information about each default!

6 freckles by SavageSimBaby (Sunkissed Freckles, Frecklezilla, & Freckle ID), adapted 4t2. I say “adapted” because I did quite a bit of fiddling with some of them. They come in three shades, light, medium, and dark, so they should work well with a variety of skin tones. They can be found under “full face makeup”, and should be layerable with just about anything (I gave them a really unique bin number). All files have been compressorized. Here’s a swatch showing the medium shade on my default replacement S1 skin.
Credits: SavageSimBaby for the original freckles, all I did was some GIMP work to make them fit nicely on TS2 faces.
I feel it’s worth mentioning that the original creator has been inactive for 9+ months, and I was not able to find a TOU or get permission. I don’t want to potentially upset anyone in the future, so I want to reiterate that 100% credit goes to SavageSimBaby!
