Wild way to start out a post, but stick with me.

My partner and I got kicked out of our home that we’d been staying in on my grandparents’ charity for nonpayment of rent. We’re both unemployed and mentally ill and trans (which way narrows down our choices for shelter), and I’m disabled.  Really all we need is enough money to stay in this motel room, even if it isn’t every night, until I’m able to get on SMI and/or my partner is able to get a paycheck through the staffing agency they’re applying to.
