He may be small, but he has no idea of ​​his strength. The more he travels around the world, the more he grows and evolves. He saw Roy Goldenarms as a father figure and a role model of what it means to be human while fighting to protect others.

Fun fact: Eddie was inspired by three characters. Optimus prime from transformers, Metabee from Metabot and Astro from Astro boy.

Fun fact: The character Roy Goldenarms that I drew was inspired by Alex louis Armstrong from Fullmetal alchemist.

Funny they asked cause in my comic dub of Abysstale we have voice lines for Abyss that cover Chap 1 and 2. Have I got to use them? Nope, editing is a bitch and takes up my time and motivation. After I am done with Part 1, I will give up and find someone else to do the editing.

Art should be cherished, not treated like fast fashion.

I've been thinking about something that I feel affects a lot of artists online:

How are artists supposed to know what people value when nobody tells them?

There's often discussion about "silent followers" — people who enjoy someone's artwork, animations, videos, stories, etc. without liking, commenting, sharing, or otherwise interacting with it. And there's absolutely nothing inherently wrong with quietly enjoying someone's work.

But from the artist's side, silence is still... silence.

When something gets very little response for months or even years, an artist has no way of knowing whether people are quietly loving it or simply aren't interested. We can't see the people behind the screen thinking "I hope they make more of this." All we can see are the signals we're actually given.

And I think that's why it can feel strange when an artist eventually stops making something, moves on, or deletes old work, only for people to suddenly appear saying:

"Why did you delete this? I loved it!" "I used to watch this all the time!" "I'm so sad this is gone!"

Those feelings are completely valid. But at the same time, the artist may genuinely have had no idea those people cared about that work in the first place.

This isn't meant as "you owe artists comments and likes." Nobody should feel forced to interact with everything they see.

It's more a reminder that interaction is communication.

A comment, favorite, share, message, or even an occasional "Hey, I really like this series" tells an artist that something they're creating has reached somebody. It tells them what people enjoy, what they remember, and what they might actually miss if it disappeared.

Not every silent follower needs to suddenly become an active commenter. But if everyone stays silent, the collective result looks exactly the same to the artist as nobody being interested at all.

Sometimes artists don't realize their work mattered to people until after it's already gone.

So if there's an artist whose work you've quietly enjoyed for months or years, consider letting them know sometime.

You might be giving them information they genuinely didn't have.
