The numerous queer books and media that have come before Heated Rivalry deserve just as much love and attention. Especially Casey McQuiston’s books.

In fact, I feel like the fluffy romcom nature and sexual intimacy portrayed by RWRB walked so that the sexual honesty of Heated Rivalry could run.

Do people actually not know what "playing devil's advocate" is supposed to be for???

It is not that thing trolls do where they play both sides to fuck with people, or any other deception tactic.

Devil's advocate is when you make an argument you strictly do not agree with, and everyone present us supposed to know that's what you're doing, because it's like a roleplay training session.

You imagine what you'd say if you were your enemy, in order to brainstorm the counterpoints you would make against all of *those* points. A debate team agrees to do this as a mental exercise, it's not meant to just be sprung on people.
