the senate is gonna be out of session for the next two weeks and the house republicans are having a hissy fit about the SAVE act dying in senate so are likely going to be also out of session for the same duration of time. this bill is going to the house first so there’s a good chance there won’t be a vote until mid july. it’s VERY important to email/call your reps/senators during the interim/recess about this in the meantime

"But you're my [son/daughter/boyfriend/girlfriend/mom/dad/etc.]; I can't see you any other way!" "But we need more [badass butch lesbians/women in STEM/etc.] to show women that they can do anything!" "But we need good men like you to promote healthy masculinity!" <- None of these are reasons not to transition. Transition is for you, not for others.
