please stop using the tag for asking how to write intersex oc's, do that in intersex help blogs, or something like that

please stop using the tag for your "all-intersex species writing" posts — example: snails and urchins, unisex-and-then-develops-into-one-side phenomenons... this is not what intersexuality means. this is intersexist

please dont use the intersex tag for your fu-slur ""intersex"" oc's. please. its wildly intersexist

please stop using the tag for posts that are generally queer but do not actively include us at all

please stop using the intersex tag when youre talking about other queer identities and theres no mention or expansion on our existence — example: afterthought, vague mentions of intersex people in a post that talks in detail about other queer groups

please stop taking our tag. we are not your engagement bait. we are not your little pride flag like button badge. we are not your gotcha for dichotomy-rotten conservatives. we are people with struggles and pains and experiences and joys that are infinitely more important than any of the aforementioned things youre using our tag for

we already have so little for ourselves as it is, so stop taking over our small space on a website that is already so hostile towards us.

i dont care that youre a self-proclaimed "ally". if you actually care, you'll listen to this and act accordingly

intersex tags being used in these ways is so fucking dehumanizing thinking about it. im not much on the tag, but there are such better alternatives... c'mon guys. we arent a tag to be added onto the end of a pride post, we shouldnt be an afterthought either. we exist outside of tumblr and the tags related! we exist outside of characters!

also... before anybeing says that "its not that deep", yeah, it is. intersex people are not appreciated in the community (or society in general) as much as we should be. participating in this behavior as a perisex being is soooo harmful. like i said earlier in the post, we exist outside of these discussions. i understand that many may not realize that one is contributing to this harmful way of thinking, but please for the love of sugar, spice, and everything nice; listen to intersex folk!!! please!!!!

we are talking about these issues for a reason, we really are. if they didn't exist, we wouldn't be making posts about it.
