This is what I mean when I say everything is purposefully in animation. They have control over everything. When I babble about symbolism of the glass breaking, it’s because they have absolute control over the physics of how it happens, as they’re drawing it, and they chose to have it break looking like this. It’s purposeful, symbolic, and it means something. No, I’m not reading into it!! It’s just the art of animation, which is why I love it so much.

Need people who like superliminal to watch severance and people who like severence to play superliminal. Both go into extreme escapism as well as using liminal spaces to represent a sort of mindscape. Both are experiments. However, severence looks more into taking advantage of people looking for an escape while superliminal is run by someone who needed the escape. The difference offers an interesting perspective into the whole concept however because it leaves you with more knowledge to question the ethics and reasoning behind it all. If you truly endured the worst, would you consider putting yourself through this?

Is there anything worse than going in fully aware that a Netflix show is cancelled and thinking "whatever I'm inured to it by now and it probably won't even be that good" and then spending the entirety of the final episode in hell like "oh fuck oh jesus I've got 27 minutes left of this show and it's not gonna wrap it up in any way that gives me closure and there. just. is. no. more."

as of now she’s facing 15 years in jail for ‘threatening’ the ceo of the insurance company that denied her claim. and isn’t that ironic? since women always get told that ‘threats don’t mean anything unless there’s action’ when it comes to reporting stalkers, ex and present partners who threaten abuse. but now a threat warrants this disproportionate action?
