i have multiple expansive universes that have been years in the making! my ultimate dream is to get at least one of them adapted into a book, tv series or video game :)

my vampire universe — split into two time periods: the 1870s and the year 2074 — the former follows the vampire Stefan von Wellwood's escape from the claws of his abusive father and run-in & developing romance with the werewolf Derrik Vogel — the latter intertwines multiple character stories in the fictional city of Nexridge (Maryland, USA) into one overarching thriller mystery; policework, vampire cults, a detailed look into how supernatural beings would blend into the human society in a futuristic landscape

my pirate universe — in the fictional universe of Gnuivil, the pirate captain Arya Rowen is on a quest to vanguish the ghosts from his past that have come back to haunt him. what he's failed to plan for is Clément Leroux, a kind-hearted farmboy, to jump in and change the trajectory of his life for good.

i don't wanna toot my own horn but i'm so pleased with how the rendering in these came out 𐔌ˊᵕˋ𐦯 i've never drawn arya smiling before (nothing to smile about in his life) and i made myself emotional lolol

also, off topic (kinda): i talked about this over on instagram, but this entire year has been so challenging for me in terms of creativity. obviously the IG incident of december ´25 was partially responsible, but even on top of that i haven't had passion to really work on art that hasn't been intended to go on sale. i felt like i really lost my way in terms of drawing, and i've been doing a lot of soul searching these past few weeks to try to figure out what being creative and creating art really means to me. i haven't really gotten to a conclusion on that front yet 🥲 we'll see what the latter half of the year has to offer.

aaa thank u so much! :D since it's mermay it's the perfect time to talk about llyr hehe

llyr is a culie, which in my pirate universe basically means a mermaid/siren. their diet consists of blood and meat, whether it's sea creatures or sailors. llyr is a deep sea culie in particular; there are freshwater, saltwater and deep sea variants of culies, and their habitat determines some of their features. being from "the deep" as they call it, llyr's sub-species has adapted to see in the dark, have glowing patterns on their skin, and communicate through echolocation much like whales! deep sea culies are the physically largest subset of the culie; llyr with his tailfin included is 209cm/6´9´´ tall.

character wise, llyr is an explorer. they find life above the surface interesting, though they try to keep their distance. culies tend not to get into human business (they see each other as predators, after all) but humans and culies CAN develop genuine connections, even if romantic or sexual attraction is completely foreign to culies.

llyr is tied to arya with a blood pact they created after arya saved llyr's life. this means arya's able to summon them by bleeding into the ocean. llyr is pulled towards the blood no matter what part of the world they're in at that moment. the part of the story i'm writing has arya summon llyr and ask them for a culie's scale, which he needs for a potion. llyr refuses, since scales are sacred to their kind. through this conflict, cl'ement ends up befriending llyr instead which ultimately leads to llyr getting captured and arya forcefully extracting a scale from them. after the betrayal, the ocean rejects llyr's body, resulting in long-lasting pain and llyr losing trust in arya for a long time. they do eventually make up, and arya breaks off their blood pact, freeing them. ❤️‍🩹
