So Eddie rolls over and turns off the light, and then he rolls back and says, "Good night, Buck," and kisses him. Just a peck, right on the mouth, like it's something they do every day. Because it felt like something they SHOULD be doing every day; it felt so comfortable and warm and right. And Buck says, "Oh." And Eddie says, "Um." And Buck says, "You don't..." But before he can finish the sentence, Eddie leans in again, kisses him with intent this time, a kiss that's comfortable and warm and right. Like it's something they do every day.
