(first thing: you do belong in that community. I saw that you're nonbinary? If you're afab you do count as trans masc, because trans masc is just about the direction of transitioning- not the actual gender. Afab nonbinary people also count as trans masc. If anyone will tell you you don't belong there tell them to fuck off, I'll also fight them myself).

And also, being agender- if you're afab, still technically makes you trans masc technically (unless you're uncomfortable with the term, you can choose not to use it) and not transfem. Trans masc/ trans femme is just about the direction. So everyone who starts as afab and go somewhere along the line in the opposite direction counts as trans masc, agender counts in that too.

The gender of my genderfluid amab friend changes a lot, but she still collectively calls herself trans femme because that's the direction she transitioned in.

It's just about the direction you're trying to go at, even if you're stopping at a gender neutral point. To the best of my understanding.
