Look at them!!!

They go on motorbike dates and sit on a random bench in the park to listen to music.

Imagine Duke avoiding Harper like the plague cause he doesn't know how she's gonna react but he finally gets the confidence and says really loudly like he's about to explode: "I LIKE YOUR BROTHER!" And Cullen was behind them all the time and he's just processing everything and realizes that he likes Duke too AND WHAT AM I DOING OMGGGG I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AAAAAHHHH.

“Hey,” Jason leaned in, his hair dripping on the carpet. “Can I crash here?”

She tossed him a towel and stepped out of the way so he could clamber inside. He was still in his suit, that stupid red helmet under his arm like a trophy.

“Don’t you have a safehouse about five miles that way?” Harper asked, jerking a thumb in the direction of Park Row. He laughed, shrugging out of his jacket as he dried his hair.

“Funny story,” he said, then his face fell. “Okay, maybe not so funny.”

“Hit me,” Harper said, making her way over to her door. She leaned out of it, yelling, “CULLEN! Jason is going to borrow some of your clothes!”

“Thanks,” he said. “You know how there was a fire in Park Row last night?”

“Yeah?” Harper said, and then, making a few connections, “Oh, no.”

It's been 4 years, but last week my eldest asked for some fabric to make a video game level, and I picked up my quilt to offer them some solidarity. Now we have two new squares!

This is Bluebird (Harper Row), a character who delights me! She doesn't really have a logo, so I decided to iconicize the shape of her chest armour.

The background blue fabric is kinda rough, but the very dark blue of the centre double chevrons and collar pentagon is finer, and the black triangles along the edges that symbolize her jacket are slippery. The ribbons along the edge of the jacket are even smoother, and were TERRIBLE to work with. The little rings a 1/3rd of the way down were very hard to sew into the ribbons, but DO look like straps and buckles to me, so I'm satisfied. I might add more straps with buckles coming off the bottom of the chest armour, because Harper has a LOT of straps, but we'll see.

The borders along the chest and collar armour are breton stitch, with the centre line being long breton stitches that I twisted extra times. Harper's armour is layered, and I think this gets across the sense of overlapping layers.

This has had everything other than the ribbon straps for at least 2 years, now. It feels good to finish it!
