Gaz was already one the of the most hated and forgotten characters, are u telling me that him being one of the mcs in three games was for nothing?? Now hes just discarded bc proly they dont know what to do with him???

Honestly im not really excited for the new game, ngl, I think the third was like a good ending for this story, why not just come up with a new one instead of rebooting AGAIN

Since he's Price's protégé, he has to pick between his loyalty to the SAS/Laswell who runs the 141, his comrades in the 141 and his mentor in Price. That's a crazy three way decision he could be forced to make. All while grieving Soap's death. Soap who he's the same age as and who we can assume they trained and came up the ranks with each other in the SAS.

We could have gotten and AMAZING story around Gaz who has to swiftly mature. Not only with deciding which side he's on but also dealing with the utterly insane fallout from the North Korea invasion. And because I love trauma, it could all end with him being the only survivor of the 141 in the end, like OG Price is in the original MW games.

Sure, Gaz is alive. But he's lost his friends and is BARELY clinging on to his humanity. All while now being the grizzled survivor and promoted captain who's training the next group of new SAS operators.

"Boring" my ass!

First of all, he's Price's golden boy.

And the scariest member of the 141 is NOT fucking Ghost, spooky mask aside! Ghost follows orders. He bares his teeth and barks, but he won't bite unless told to.

Price uses morals and orders and laws and plain old human decency as TOOLS to achieve his goals. Uses those things, and people, and as soon as they're no longer useful, he discards them.

The Trolley Problem has never been a conundrum for Price - kill the one, save the many, and oh well if the one is just as innocent.

Simple Maths.

Gaz.

Price is a man who has honed his rage into the finest edged sword, and he's showing Gaz how to use his own.

At best, those who think Gaz is boring are boring in and of themselves - people who can't read between the lines and can't see the potential there.
