The toughest part about coming home from a weekend in the mountains is knowing #thetins are now behind me and I’m entering the concrete jungle for the next 5 days. But then when you see this in your rear view mirror, it’s worth pulling the car over and savoring a few more minutes of the weekend🤤This photo is raw and untouched, I also claim it would be a crime against nature to ever filter or retouch it 🤷‍♀️

Feeling that 2pm slump? Me too 🤷‍♀️ I gave my brain a break and reenergized at Denver Central Market in RiNo [River North District]. Head to #GreenSeed and order the “Kale Yeah Mother Brussel” b/c it is 💣 AF. Loaded w/ your favorite super foods- grilled chicken, almonds, golden raisins, bacon crumbles, shaved brussels + kale, heirloom tomatoes, apples- topped with white apple balsamic and my personal favorite, sriracha🔥

SATURDAY. Keystone was LIT 🔥today at the summit lodge. Our crew breaked here for lunch and had a blast with this packed house full of peeps who were stoked to shred pow today 🤙 I also indulged in a house spicy Bloody Mary w/ a dill pickle, celery stick, lemon + lime. It hit the spot 🎯so good I had two 🤷‍♀️

POWER.MOVE. I love having friends that share the same entrepreneurial spirit as I do. We are constantly on the grind, pushing the boundaries, striving to be the differentiators, reinventing the wheel, and proving that we are a force to be reckoned with. 💥 A v close friend of mine texted me this sketch yesterday and I HAD to share. I’ve struggled with being a people person vs a people pleaser. Everyday I actively have to separate my emotions, know when to be tough and when to please. It’s hard, all the time. But sketches like this remind me to stay focused 😈 and gave me a little laugh mid-day!

My favorite part of this article- realizing the difference of being thoughtful in your work to represent the “working hard” mentality vs. working for a long time as a way to prove your “working hard.” Don’t drain yourself with the grind measured by longevity. Measure your thoughtfulness on the work you are doing!

When you’ve spent the first 5 hours of the day nose deep in spreadsheets 🤓 and need a quick #MHB (mental-health-break) I head straight for a stroll around the neighborhood🚶‍♀️ b/c it’s just SNOW much fun 🤷‍♀️😂

Grateful to call this my backyard. Winter hikes are exceptional in the Rocky Mountains. With views like this, I’ll find my feet naturally slowing down and soaking in the majestic cool colors and quite sounds of nature. The slightest glimpse of mountain ranges, untouched powered, and frosted pine trees is enough to fill tears of appreciation through your eyes.
