Ragatha objectively is more of a main character in the pilot than Jax. She has several moments with Pomni where she opens up, she’s attacked by Kaufmo and when Pomni runs away it’s a big character moment for both of them. Jax is in silly mode the whole time, which is interesting in hindsight, but because there’s no cracks in his persona he’s basically a one dimensional side character. Which is bad if he’s going to be the main character.

I think if instead, Kaufmo immediately attacked Jax, then him being a main character would feel less like it came out of nowhere. This would set up his contentious relationship with Kaufmo, it would give Ragatha and Jax a serious moment early on, and it would also show cracks in Jax’s funny guy facade.

Hey yall, I created a pride flag specifically for transfems that don't wanna deal with any pesky TMEs (/s I'm not being serious.)

It definitely doesn't look like shit, and the lifelessness of only having one color definitely isn't a metaphor for the lack of diversity of experiences such a trans community would have.

It's not like we need transmasc and nonbinary people in order to be whole or anything, definitely not.

Do you think he'd know that it would not only be that they don't need him anymore, but that he'd actively be a nuisance on them?

Do you think he was ever angry at the idea of them hating him after he becomes useless, only to wonder if they would be justified in it? He's the oldest. He's a man. Adult men aren't supposed to wig out and jump and cry at every minor disturbance. He can't usually remember the things he says, but he remembers the looks on their faces. They always look so... uncomfortable. Is it because they're stuck-up snobs who don't like anyone not "easy enough to deal" with as them, or did he really say or do something so horrible? Were they genuinely horrified? Is he something to rightfully be scared of?

Do you ever think about how Kinger said the darkness makes him lucid because it brings him back to a moment in his life when he was staring at the anguished, corrupted mind and body of his best friend in the world?

Do you ever think about how Kinger has to have a flashback to one of the most traumatic moments of his life in order to be "easier to deal with"?

Do you ever think about how he has to actively hurt himself emotionally for the comfort of everyone else around him?
