the bear is so frustrating because syd and carmy are so so clearly supposed to be the emotional heart of the restaurant *if not* the whole show, and they are! dont get me wrong. but the bear is just so commited to never letting them hang out or talk to each other outside of these huge emotional scenes, and we're all supposed to just accept that these characters are super close besties without EVER seeing it. you have to show me!!!!

When Saxon finds out Chelsea is gone
To cope with that The White Lotus finale, I wrote my second, and last, Saxon x Chelsea fic.
Here you go: What Remains
Original plan, if they both made out alive, was to write a part 2 of The Space Between but that doesn't really make sense anymore. So instead I wrote this short fic about Saxon finding out Chelsea died, since we didn't get that.
I wrote this Chelsea x Saxon fanfic after episode 7. But now, after the finale, it applies as a "what could have been" fic.
After watching the final episode, I wish Chelsea would've let go of the past she swore by, so she could live for the possibility of something new.
(I know, I know, this ship was a long shot on this show where someone we like must die, but still, what could have been...)
