I wanted to write this post to add some positivity about syladin here, as it makes me sad that the tag is full of antis, negative comments, and insults towards that ship so it seems shippers can't enjoy anything. BUT there are so many beautiful Syl and Kaladin moments in WaT, so sweet, funny, and wholesome, that I couldn't help but end up shipping them because of them and I wanted to highlight them here! Of course, you can see these moments as friendly platonic ones too; personally the way I prefer to describe them is not friends or lover, but soulmates, but hey this is a shipping post so we're here to enjoy! Oh, and if you're also a fan of Syl as character, I wrote a post about her as well! you can read it here. ^^

Kaladin and Syl's dance scene. It's been talked about a lot already, and rightly so, it's beautiful! A genuine moment where Kaladin and Syl are finally completely happy and carefree, where Kaladin finally allows himself to enjoy life, music, and each other's company. That "I deserve to be happy" from Kaladin warmed my heart. And both smiling at the end.

Kaladin remembering the time Syl defended him from the deathspren in WoK, remembering her as “A beautiful woman” fighting with a sword.

Kaladin thinking that Syl looks like his ex-girlfriend Lyn when she puts her hair up, and also remembering his ex-girlfriend Tarah right before dancing with Syl just to compare now he feels much better about dancing with someone without feeling ashamed of not knowing how to dance correctly (*most of the times Kaladin remembered Tarah in WoR and OB was when he was around Shallan thinking romantically about her. What a coincidence~)

Syl and Kaladin healing together and learning to live for themselves and not just for others, talking about it in a sincere and healthy way. In general growing up during their journey. She becoming more independent, her own person, and confident. Kaladin feeling happier, confident, being nicer and moving away from dark thoughts. The two of them healing together, understanding each other more than anyone else and supporting each other on their journeys

This scene where Syl helps Szeth and Kaladin congratulates and praises her telling her that she's brilliant and amazing: (ch 72)

All the moments when Syl holds Kal's hand and rests her head on his shoulder.

When Kaladin is playing the flute and Syl is lying on the grass next to him, both of them looking up at the stars. Enjoying the view, the music and her company. And she praising his song.

The moments where she tenderly and mischievously teases him, like a certain chull joke in the library and Syl asking him “Do you want to see it?” while he refuses and thinks about how he would blush seeing her naked.

Kaladin wondering what Syl is thinking when he sees her mischievous look and smile and telling her that he's curious about the excited way she always sees the world and makes him wonder what's interesting about even the smallest details.

Kaladin immediately trusting Syl when she warns him that Szeth is in danger and her thinking how good she feels when Kaladin trusts her so completely and without hesitation.

Syl as Kaladin's scribe and reading for him, as is usually the role of alethi wives with their husbands. And also being scribe and writing a diary because she enjoys writing and reading for herself, which is very healthy.

Kaladin thinking and almost shyly saying that Syl is perfect and her accepting and loving his flaws:

Syl touching Kaladin's face when his eyes turn dark brown again, both creating the Honor spear together and going together to a meadow in the mental dream in Braize when the heralds disappear from Roshar.

Syl being named Queen of the sprens and StormMother, and Kaladin being named King of the heralds and now turned into a cognitive shadow. Which makes them both now equal in positions, both immortal and also more similar in body and soul.
