(2/2) Early 2026 Edward art batch

1) Based on a Tommy Stubbs depiction of Edward doing this pose out of the blue, in the pseudo-CGI promo style. It kind of looked like he was pulling a badass armfold somehow lol.

2) A predictive toy edit of what I believe the 2026 reboot Edward could look like. Heard a lot of criticisms about the way the reboot James’ face looked, which it definitely seemed to suit Edward more than him. I’m kind of hoping that maybe it’s just a funny case where their faces were swapped due to a communication error or something.

3) Small in-joke about how Edward can never seem to die (or at least not permanently) and always comes back in some fashion, giving the illusion of infinite lives

4) An experimental armored kaiju Edward design, with more emphasis on red, black and white than usual.

I was always wishy-washy on whether Edward was pulling Henry’s wheel when it came to the legend—-

NAH ACTUALLY THIS BASICALLY CONFIRMS THAT EDWARD WAS BEING DEAD SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE WAS LOOKING OUT FOR HENRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This ironically reminded me of two Edward and Gordon interactions- 1) Edward telling Gordon that he deserved what happened to him in the events of Wrong Road in the RWS and 2) Gordon saying a similar line in Edward, Gordon and Henry when Edward fails to push the Express by himself.

When Edward goes to Thomas and tells him about Gordon being rude and ungrateful, Thomas IMMEDIATELY goes into Cheeky Bastard Mode™ and starts planning a trick on Gordon.

LOOK AT HIS FACE! He did not HESITATE for a second. There was no “well look at it from Gordon’s perspective” or even a “I’m sorry to hear that Edward”

All he needed to hear was “Gordon’s so ungrateful” and he goes full bastard
