Jace and Simon both attended the same halloween party, but the place where they first met was the burger joint next to the club, at 2:23 am.

“Spock and Kirk. What a cute couple costumes!” The cashier exclaimed enthusiastically.

Jace turned around to look at the person behind him, and indeed, the guy was wearing a blue Starfleet shirt.

“We have a special deal for couples - if you order two burgers, we add fries and soda for free.” The girl behind the counter continued.

Jace looked at the other man, and raised an eyebrow in a silent question.
