Said I looked splendid in it.
Lestat singing a song about Gabriella. Has a moment where he wonders why his mother took him to the witches place….
Then, Lestat losing his shit and screaming at Larry who needs a moment to figure out changes to a song. Lestat screaming “beards to floor, waiting for you to work it out, Larry!”
Larry, who represents Lestat’s frailty.
Stares meaningfully at Lestat. Yeah. When is he gonna work it out?

Curious as to how you interpreted the Daniel ‘using’ a student ‘aggressively’ line (I know it’s supposed to be ambiguous)
Sounds to me like morally dubious rough sex that a closeted queer man has with a student. 🤷♀️
I've had conversations with some friends about whether or not the phrasing reads like rape, and I think that's going to depend on what you think of Daniel, how comfortable you are with him having morally dubious sexual encounters (this isn't like... uncommon. I have so many friends who have had clandestine relationships with married and older men), and how much weight you decide to take those words.
Considering what I know of how Armand chooses words to land in specific ways, I do think it is meant to be reminiscent of the girl with the paper bag, which was also an extremely dubious sexual encounter that I discussed here.
I mean, considering a man of Daniel's age, with "modulating sexuality," and how vampires expose systems of exploitation can include rape culture. Rape culture does extend to young queer men, so I'm willing to let it function as that.
