Hello! I'm Sylvan, a disabled trans man living in Washington. I am an after-school teacher (hoping to go to college for Early Childhood Education) and use a wheelchair to be able to get around. My current job has not been giving me any hours due to missing training after getting x-rays (they knew I was going to miss it, my manager just hasn't worked with me to get the training I need for summer hours), so I am tight on money until school starts back up.

My wheelchair, a Fold and Go, has cost me about 3k (interest included) to pay off, and I won't be able to pay it off until about next year at the rate I'm going. I live off disability right now, and could really use the $111 USD I pay each month on other things.

I'm also funding for my credit card through paypal, because I need it for doctor's appointments.

Body Horror: Things that cannot happen in real life. EX: The Thing, stomach mouths, eyes on hands, etc

Gore: Fresh injuries, often severe. EX: Severed leg, gutspill, deep gashes, etc

NEITHER: Healed injuries and burns, congenital differences, missing appendages, etc. If I could theoretically go to the store and see that character browsing the isles- It isn't body horror or gore. That's just a person. *AND the amount of people that tag, not just fictional characters, but real human beings as body horror is staggering. Its not solely a fandom issue, ableism and bigotry against anyone that looks sufficiently "different" is prevalent in real life and has devastating consequences.

Self harm scars are not body horror.

Pregnant people are not body horror.

Burn scars are not body horror, that includes chemical burn scars.

Prosthetics are not body horror.

NOT having prosthetics is also not body horror.

There is no disability aid that is body horror.

Congenital differences + disabilities are not body horror.

AND acquired differences + disabilities are also not body horror.

Real people are not body horror.

It also ignores the mental toll that poverty takes like maybe your home made veggie filled recipe isn’t crazy expensive but it also involves prep time and cooking time and organization in terms of fresh food that a lotta poor people can’t manage.

Not to mention if you can only afford to get to the store once every couple weeks via bus or cab then you can’t keep fresh veg on deck.

If I'm going to make my Drifter Natah's Champion/Kisser, I thought of mixing Radiant Lotus with Eidolon Natah, so she has this more formal and "armored" look when performing as the leader (Radiant Lotus) and a more personal/intimate look for private moments: less armor and more "skin", scars proudly worn out in the open, tattered skirt unafraid of decay and the passage of time, muted colors and blue energy for the living and repaired rather than edolon's teal, dying energy.

More on the "I'm obsessed with baby Lotus beetle form" brainrot. I kept thinking about how the color palette of her little baby beetle form is purple-ish/blue-ish, like the Lotus we've always known. Which contrasts a lot with the form of Natah we saw during the New War : all black. So I wondered if maybe she would've looked different without being altered/affected by the human mimicry form of Margulis. As in, her actual full on Sentient form, that would've directly evolved from the little beetle baby. So I offer to you Natah Prime! I guess. Or like, original Natah. Perhaps as she was before she looked at the Tenno and decided to take on the role of their mother.
