Had an idea during my workshift-
Why is the reader in yautja fics always some nanny or slave or servant- get them a job, usefull skills. Make them a strong farmhand coming across a crashed alien ship. A military worker digging too deep into government secrets. A nurse or doctor investigating the cause for patients' brutal/strange otherworldy injuries. Hell- even just a barista with good reflexes and instincts to throw boiling shit at an attacker instead of crying for help or whatever!
I'm sick of being a weak little girl- like in the Alien vs Preadtor movie, there was a girlboss protag! Let's all be capable people instead of Stereotypical (y/n)s!!!

I agree 99% but a nanny protag sounds cool though. They earn their place in the clan taking care of the sucklings.
Can you imagine being in charge of a yautja daycare or something? That'd require strength beyond the hunt. Jesus. The teething alone...I bet they also have a headbutting phase. BONK.
