thinking about how twice now mari has told two of the people she trusts the most (alya, luka) the truth, and both times it backfired. not telling adrien is slowly killing her but her friends' reactions only prove her fears right everytime and she's growing more paranoid every episode.

I imagine closer to the finale she'll go to the last person she can trust, chat noir, who's been with her through everything and she'll tell him everything thinking at the very least he'll understand. and he wouldn't tell adrien.

omg??? idk if i agree that the organ the users of the broken peacock valued the most are what pass on to their children as a prevalent trait (the sentibeing concept still largely confuses me personally but wouldn't that mean that piece of the user passes onto every single sentibeing they create even if it isn't an offspring? i just don't know if we have evidence of that and astruc isn't addressing that aspect of the theory here) but it is fascinating to think about. when he says "emotion that is at the origin of the sentibeing" it probably is related to what the user values and their reason for creation, so that organ being a kind of "exchange" for using the (broken) peacock in the first place makes sense, and if the organ affected ends up being a vital organ it leads to death (so in emilie and colt's case, the heart and brain, whereas tomoe can survive without her eyes). interesting. (what was nathalie's vital organ that was failing?)

Huh. Kagami may have inadvertently given the Council of Evil a reason why Ladybug lied. Which I think is for the better: it's partially true, so it's really effective at throwing them off the scent of the major reason that Ladybug lied: because she was close to Adrien.

Also man, more of the prominent theme this season of "shitty parent is shitty to their kid, their kid gets rightfully pissed at them, gives them a Reason You Suck Speech, but also acknowledges that they still care for them, as much as it hurts."

I think it would be very cool if Marinette finding out Chat Noir's identity leads her to an akumatisation because not only does she realise how Chat Blanc came to be in the past, she also cannot handle the stress and guilt of holding back these secrets from him and ends up feeling like the biggest failure ever.

I feel like for her to think clearly and be herself again, she must completely fall apart first and perhaps let others help her build her back up.

I will be so happy if Lady Chaos is an akumanette episode, regardless if it's a what-if or not.

Chat Noir is a perfect character because when given a miraculous every other character takes it very seriously and usually acts like themselves but more responsible, and then Chat Noir acts like a weird furry cat boy for some reason.
