It was when I found a beginning, you discovered what it meant’

Like it or not, a lot about yourself is a lot about others. Before I went to college, I never cared about my cup size. Now I'm almost obsessed with it. Before I started working, I never bothered about age or age differences. While I still don't, I'm aware that people are touchy which makes me more conscious of what I say. Of late, my weight has been a burden. Not just literally. For the polite type, I'm cute. For the humourous ones, I'm the butt of their jokes. For some well meaning folks, I'm fat yet manage to look good because you know, that's an unachievable task. A lot of these things make you react a certain way. Forcing you to hide under layers of other people's perception of you. While I'm working on changing that, it would be easier if all of us could really, truly rise above what's on the outside.
