The beauty of freewriting. No stopping. Barely going back. I don't know what this is but it's sick as hell.
Running out of time. Clock ticking. Down to the wire. Got to run. Go to go. Got to move. No more redos. This has to be it. He did it. He lept, jumping across the gap as the world seemed to glitch out of existance around him. The timer was reaching 0 and his hand was reaching for the crystal. Boom. His finger just barely made contacct with the vibrating crystal of reality, shattering it. Suddenly he was there at the beginning of everything and the end of everything and everything in between. All of reality crashed into his own small, feeble, mortal mind. He sobered up, after his infinite years inside of the span of a single second. He was in his own bathroom, throwing up into the toilet.Â
"Are you okay?" Steph asked. It was Steph! How did she get here? How did it happen? Lance lept up.
"Steph? Is that you?"
"Yeah. And that's you Lance."
"What day is it?"
"Monday, why?"
"No, what Monday? Day, month and year?"
"Are you okay?"
"Please just answer the question."
"March 15th, 2028."
"Then I did it!" he shouted, leaping from the toilet and running into your embrace. "I did it and you're here and you're safe and I love you so so so much and I wish I told you properly the first time."
He went in for a kiss, to be pushed away. "Once you're done puking and get some water. Sit down and tell me what happened. And you can kiss me all you like then."
