A bit more About Me under the cut
I am in my early 30s, mom to a stupidly adorable dog (see tag "sputnikposting"), and work some kind of job that I complain about from time to time. I'm currently preparing to begin working towards a master's degree, which is, you know, terrifying, but no pressure.
My primary fandom is Hetalia, which I have been in for nearly fifteen years, because something something special interest hyperfixation something something. I'm also on the very edges of TURN: Washington's Spies fandom, though I've mostly fallen out of it. I also reblog from a variety of other fandoms, but as far as fanworks and meta go, it's pretty much all Hetalia from me.

I am decidedly to the left on most political matters, if you were wondering, and stand in support of those continuing to fight for democracy and peace in Israel.

The Americans in that post saying we don't view the Brits as classy are in such denial. Despite our country having periodic waves of Anglophilia/Anglophobia, your average Yank will hear any British accent (save perhaps Cockney) and immediately go weak at the knees and believe anything they say.
Like, we've been in a long wave of disliking the British for the past decade, and their royal family burned quite a lot of goodwill with their treatment of Meghan and Harry, but your average American associates your standard British accent with posh.
This will probably only really go away when Millennials and Zoomers make up the majority of the population because we've spoken to a lot of Brits online and been exposed to their media, so we know the truth.

Now that I've had time to sleep on it, I am a little disappointed with the purple. I told the stylist I preferred bluer purples and showed some pictures, and she said she didn't need to lift at all because since my natural color is a light brown she thought it would work, and now that I'm looking it's definitely burgundy more than purple. It still looks nice, I'm just like... When this fades I'll get the manic panic out, I guess?
It was cheaper than I was expecting and I'm wondering if that's why, she said something to herself about "red" as she was finishing up and I'm kinda like... yeah. it is red.
Love my new hair but i have to be careful because the significantly more noticable hair-scalp contrast means the thinning is not subtle in some spots
My dad's side of the family did not have this problem. He also didn't see a dentist until he enlisted at 18 and needed no fillings. I can't believe I ended up with my mom's side's shitty hair AND teeth. Dog shit.
