the world turns

upside down

dawn becomes dusk

and bodies float

on the horizon

I was a teenager

and she was a

much

older woman.

There was a

thrilling rush

tinged with a

sense of

chaos.

It was my secret

and it led

to a secret

life.

I have the

projection for the

waking world,

but while

they slumber

I become

Mr Hyde.

I explore that

which lingers

at the edge

of my mind.

Hedonistic,

maybe.

But I wonder,

if I led one life

not two,

would that one

have been

Rain soaking my clothes,

My skin.

A thousand kisses,

And I will not hide from this love.

Not when the earth itself is offering it to me.
