under a cloud

dreaming

away

from the whirr

and pulse

of the casino

we find

ourselves here

feeling

opportunity like a gift

drifting mist

a shroud for wandering souls

able to know peace

passing through Monument Valley

this was the Butte of a few jokes…

love weighed in equal measure

we brought the upstairs downstairs

with a little morning watering

before the sun when streets still sleep

and our sighs are punctuated

well well well

we meet again

for another fine day

licking lips

from the chocolate torte

the gratitude on his tongue

slowing down the evening

with a slow feast

of kisses

pulls and puckers

snowfall tastes of winter's breath

and Love thunders

sunset prepares a cocktail

of plum and pomegranate

giving all a buzz

without being intoxicated

drawn to dream slopes

where sunset warms against the cold

breath and heart hold the quiet

kisses tastes

sweeter

when made

of shadow

the depths

of passion

become

where

moonlight

and soft blossoms

grow

it's an internal

heat that gives

time slips my mind

and my thoughts

are infinite
