everything

was progressing

nicely

until the architect

remarked

'it looks a little crooked..'

we rely

on our own

sense of logic

the rules

we give

ourselves

to the world

it can look

like madness

but there is

a poetry

and coherence

easing into

the evening

as leaves

begin to fall

enjoying

trails and

atmosphere

feeling cozy

in the cloak

well well well

we meet again

people will start talking

it must be Fate

coastal

road

evening

sun

both

make

the journey

around

the world

flames lick

not singe

but the burn still runs deep

it wasn't; her style fashion or wealth

nor her wit and radiant intelligence

(although these were especially nice fyi)

it was the sharing

when we ate

and she invited me to take a bite

quiet streets

and autumn glow

find the horizon

meeting for coffee

right outside

soft echoes off the chamber walls

helps warm the room with natural light

highlights creating glided edges

what feel spacious turns cozy

a bridge between the old and new

twilight extends each millennium

as busy as these nights can be

staying late

long after

everything

is closed

only the soft

sweeping sounds

of buskers and brooms

the night feels alive

and ever so gentle

we feel the flow

of sweet market

rhythms

meeting

up for lunch

we decide

to take a walk

enjoying

the pleasure

entering

my soft era

mornings

floating by

catching glimpses

of the flirty sun

an irresistible smile

every time

tales

read

to me

curving in time

with everyone

in doors

the night

to ourselves
