Ten years I have not finished a single book and now I can't seem to stop...

If anyone sees this, give me your most genuine "must reads". One book, if you could force feed it to a stranger, no questions asked!

Chances are high I have not read it!

I am fine with any genre, I am currently devouring some classics, but they are running thin, and I want to buy books used so I have to look for them.

I needed to decompress today and painted the second part of the double watercolor portraits.

I kinda like how both are equally inaccurate

It took all strength to not start with the Aziraphale one...

But my beloved angel is next...

They, the human actors, are separate people! Their CHARACTERS are very much joint by the hip, that doesn't translate to M&D necessarily.

Sure, they are friends and like each other. Good for them and its nice to see from time to time. But, people need to leave them be. Not everything is Good Omens, not every interaction is a hint. Not every photo is some secret message or whatever. And I like GO a lot but some of you are being a bit weird with it!

The only thing I care for are:

I hope they have fun filming!

I hope they are comfortable!

I hope they are proud of their work!

But they will move on and Good Omens, the TV show, will end after the movie. No spinoffs, no recordings and I don't even think many, if any interviews.

And I think it's up to the fandom to continue art and fanfiction and keep the world and characters alive, whatever their ending will be in the movie.

They might keep being the faces of the characters but the actors are very talented people and will move on to other things.

TLDR (and more blunt):

I decided to finally finish my Good Omens painting edit and upload it somewhere.

The timing never felt right, but since I am re-uploading a bunch of Good Omens art, I am excited to share this now

I really draw Aziraphale a lot more. I wouldn't even say he is easier to draw than Crowley, they both have very distinct strong facial features. I think I just like looking at him. Such a warm character, you know?

And I loved the illustration of Paul Kidby.so naturally I had to paint them.

Also it is valentine's day, and they are literally my favorite couple. They are hanging over my bed rn

Done with oil and it took me about 30+ hours.

I love that Crowley....

Many more to come. Especially since they are filming and people are making me anxious x_x

I tried to avoid spoilers and BTS images as best I could but when I heard people freaking out I was curious.

All I will say is, that whatever the movie will be, I will wholeheartedly support. Everything was stacked against it, the whole show was cancelled and gone. Left to waste away on a cliffhanger.

But they managed to pull through and make this despite the massive roadblocks. And I do think that they did it for the fans. At least for the most part.

However it ends, however the story goes, I think this fandom lives and breathes because of the fan works produced by us. Who can compete with that?

And when it's all done, you can also not like the movie! A significant part of the fandom doesn't like S2 aswell. Makes the show not less enjoyable IMO. (What is fanfiction for then)

But I think in the spirit of keeping the fandom healthy and happy I think we should keep a more positive outlook in things, hm?

I, for my part, think the movie will be great, and I am excited to make fan-art, write stuff about it, read and look at fan works and see the fandom reignite.
