A doll youtuber I watch has made a video about the history of Polly Pocket, and she's describing the plots of the dvd specials, one of which features an elderly woman named Ms. Throckmorton, and my reaction was

something something it's very beautiful to me how burakh is dankovsky's "rival" yet when dankovsky is faced with his true nemesis, death, one of his immediate responses is to brag to death about having burakh on his side to join his fight against death. it reminds me of how burakh and dankovsky's relationship grows closer and more amicable with each pathologic game. like in the same way shekhen is able to flourish on a meta level between patho 2 and 3, burakhovsky's relationship continues to grow in a positive direction meta-narratively despite them technically reliving the same 12 days for the entire series.
