Don’t get me wrong, I’m so glad Brandon is writing about these things, but it’s pretty shocking to scroll down and suddenly [spoilers] someone is suicide baiting a beloved protagonist who is incredibly meaningful and relatable to fans who have struggled with depression. [/spoilers]

Not saying the story should go one way or another–lord knows the payoff is going to be that much more transcendent in the end–but it would be nice if there was a heads up so people feeling more vulnerable on that day could make an informed decision about whether they’re up to reading it.

Dalinar said nothing. Battle was a masculine art. A woman wanting to come to the battlefield was like... well, like a man wanting to read. Unnatural.
