Sephcanons and Screaming

Ever Crisis is officially over in October. The game is shutting down and ending service after the completed adaptation of Before Crisis.

imo the biggest downfall of ever crisis wasn't necessarily its gacha system, but it's gameplay. there's plenty of mobile games with predatory gacha bullshit that chug along fine. but i think if your game is gonna be gacha and need ppl to log in everyday the game play has to be relatively simple for most players. the character building in ec is a fucking pain in the ass vs something like genshin which has p. straight forward combat+builds, but a high skill ceiling for more invested players

*Bursts into the box of asks* ALTO! I THINK I FIGURED OUT WHERE THE SCENE OF SEPHIROTH WITH THE WHITE MATERIA TAKES PLACE! It's not in the Northern Crater, but is actually in the Forgotten Capital. The scene will most likely be in the chapter before, or during the chapter where they go to the Forgotten Capital to figure out why Aerith was praying in that very place. And then Cloud gets a vision of Sephiroth with the White Materia. Alternatively, the reason they're going there is because Cloud believes Sephiroth has the White Materia, and the gang need to go there to get it away from him. (If I'm right, I'm gonna use this as further evidence that I'm a prophet)

I also wanted to thank you for the EC content! I know that other people have but still- EC was kind of unplayable for me just due to the overwhelming amount of stuff in the app (I was on mobile), but I did want to know the lore. I'm glad I was able to get it from you rather than just staying in the dark about it :)
