Which was strange. Old Blacksheep would’ve gotten on guard when she got drugged. Checking on friends wasn’t defined in her old version’s mind.

Maybe because fear comes from not knowing. And she wasn’t unaware of her surroundings.

Like, she knew where she was. And she could see when it was. She just didn’t know what was going to happen to her.

And if something were going to happen to her, there’d be a friend who would be still waiting for her, not knowing she would be no more alive.
