Dad: I just don't find you attractive when you do that.
Me:
Normalize punching creepy old men. Seriously why do we put up with them, when they'd fold like a lawn chair?
“Those poor boys”
“She deserves to be punished too.”
“I’m not saying I support rape, but-”
“Sorry to say - she deserved it.”
“She put herself in harm’s way”
“But if she was fingered, then that’s not rape.”
“She ruined their lives.”
“Well she didn’t exactly say ‘no’..”
“Yea, but did you see what she was wearing?”
“Boys will be boys!”
“She should know better than to drink at a party…”
Cannot not reblog.
“She should have tried to enjoy–”
“She’s just saying something now for atten-“
boy am i glad this has so many notes
“But he’s a dude. That’s not ra-”
“He should’ve enjoyed it.”
“She must’ve lead him on.”
“But she orgasmed. That means she liked it - “
“She’s slept with so many people! She’s a slut-“
“Get over it, at least you’re still a virgin”
“Women can’t rape because…”
“Be grateful it wasn’t a man!”
“I’m sorry she hurt you but don’t call what happened to you rape, it’s an insult to the REAL victims…”
“You weren’t raped, you’re just lesbophobic.”
“She shouldn’t have posted provocative photos!”
“She shouldn’t have been dressed like that … she was asking for it!”
“It’s the woman’s responsibility to not put herself in dangerous situations, she should have been more aware.”
reblogging because it’s gotten even better since last time
I love this post!
“Well he paid for dinner, she kind of owed him.”
“She’s his wife, it’s her job to please him.”
“Oral isn’t rape.”
“Well he wasn’t armed, she could have walked away.”
“Guys can’t be raped, they love sex!”
“She didn’t fight back; it wasn’t rape.”
A good post
the day I do not reblog this is the day I’m buried six feet under
I NEED to know if any other farm kids had their parents tell them to go talk to their horse, cow, sheep, chicken, dog, or heck even a favorite tree, instead of ever dealing with their kid's emotions.

honestly at the end of the day fatphobes want us to jump through this hoop of proving we can be both fat and healthy, & they’re obsessed with the idea that it’s just not possible, but the whole damn argument is irrelevant because it doesn’t MATTER if we’re healthy or not, we STILL need to be treated with basic human dignity. healthy people are not inherently worth more than unhealthy people
im glad people are discussing fatphobia but please don’t throw disabled & chronically ill fat people under the bus while defending metabolically healthy fat people! health is not equivalent to morality or worth & unhealthy fat people’s bodies are no more the business of thin folks than the bodies of metabolically healthy ones.
fatphobia can not be disconnected from ableism. defend and support fat disabled people!!
So this is probably not a great thing, but I've been blaming being bi on the covid vaccine and waiting too long to get the second shot. Now the great thing is I'm kinda questioning if I'm a lesbian or not, so if/when I get a booster shot I can just say it turned me fully gay. BAM! Problem solved no uncomfortable conversations about feelings, the validity of it, and how I figured it out. Was it a bi phase? No! Twas a medical hiccup.
When you give your pronouns quickly and maturely without making it weird.

Being a wlw in a small town is just trying to figure out if a girl is a baby lesbian tomboy or a pick me tomboy.
Screw taking cute pictures of my goat herd. From now on I'm only taking pictures of them with the flash on at night.
I legitimately think most people would be better off if we all just learned how to be casually confrontational, even a bit petty. Some of the nicest, most pleasant people I know are also the most confrontational and petty people I know (<3) and there’s a definite connection there, however it’s difficult to describe.
I touched on it earlier in my bitchfit: it’s kind of liberating to be able to see somebody say something monumentally fucking stupid, make fun of it, even tell them how fucking dumb they’re being, but to not take it very seriously. I kinda think that can help train you to see people as complex multitudes which are contradictory and conflicting, not just a linear slider from “bad” to “good.” If you make confrontation into a taboo, if you make it into this locked-up axe that you only reach for in the most dire of circumstances, it ends up tainting people in your eyes when you’re driven to confrontation with them. That, or you end up resenting people because you want to tell them to stop being a fucker but that’s a no-no. Judgement is kind of similar, and I think that’s why we have this recurring issue on social media where people can’t just dislike eachother. Your distaste has to be justified somehow. When you don’t allow yourself to just be petty over something, then you search for “real” reasons to justify it and it builds up in a similar way.
However, if confrontation just isn’t a big hairy, scary deal, then it rolls off everybody’s back. I have friends who can get bullheaded as fuck with me every once in a while, and when that happens? We bicker! Because I’m willing to tell them to their face that they’re being unreasonable and kind of a shit! But what I’ve realized it is, is that we all understand and know that this doesn’t define us, so it blows over in like 30 seconds because it’s not a big deal.
Lately I feel like putting stuff into words is difficult for me so I hope this comes across in a way that makes sense. This is particularly interesting to me because I used to be this very avoidant and mousey, to the point of it being exploited and causing me serious trauma. The ability to just be a bitch sometimes has helped my recovery so much and has, I think, made me able to have such healthier relationships with people. Even helping meet new people, And SOOOO many nerds are lacking this ability.
y’know what. i think we need to start validating every single expression of bisexuality. i mean it. if a bi girl claims she has no preference but mainly talks about guys, she’s still bisexual. if a bi guy has only dated men, he’s still bisexual. if someone has a preference, they’re absolutely just as bisexual. also, having no gender preference is absolutely, 100% an expression of bisexuality. when it comes down to it, there is no way to define bisexuality through an individual’s experience. if they are bisexual they are bisexual, no matter how others may see it.
Nobody told me lesbians end breakups with "Goodbye, I love you."
