SOAP IS ALIVE!!
The Modern Warfare 4 trailer that released on May 28th 2026 did not feature Soap or Gaz, nor did it address any possible way Soap might still be alive. What other way to fight back than to override Activision’s reality with our own?
For this event, we’re forging a space in this fandom with one goal in mind: creating art in which Soap is still alive. You can do this however you’d like: art, writing, animation, video edits – a MW3 canon fix-it, supernatural incidents, Soap simply never having joined the military in the first place… The possibilities are endless! It doesn’t matter how, as long as Soap is alive in the end.
This is a Soap-centric event. However, we’re Feeling A Way™ about Gaz's absence from the trailer as well, therefore we encourage everyone to include our beloved Sergeant in the spirit of the movement.

Soap sitting next to Ghost. Ghost is sipping tea, and Soap tries to be smooth and do the stretch move and put his arm around Ghost's shoulders. Only Ghost immediately dumps him tea on his lap, startled, and now Soap is dealing with the aftermath of Ghost bitching at him for making him spill his tea (with his crotch soaked). This does not stop him from trying the same thing again.

not to be an annoying complainer, but the new mw4 trailer kinda looks awful. i have zero interest in the storyline or the gameplay and it kind of just feels like activison’s desperate attempt to regain player interest. maybe it also is just because soap is gone and it’s verrry unlikely that they would ever bring him back for shock value, maybe because 141 doesn’t seem central to the plot, maybe it’s maybelline

i really like the idea that ghost’s face—under all of his years of scars, broken noses, and suffering—still looks quite boyish. without the mask, and when he’s truly happy, his face will slowly melt into the softest grin that soap is just absolutely gone for. his skin, despite the scars, is soft and smooth—tiny freckles plaster his nose and cheeks. his eyes and brows are so soft, he looks like he could burst into tears at any moment. his cheeks are always slightly flushed. when he eventually finds sleep, which becomes easier when johnny’s around, all the stress and worry lines disappear from his face. his lips slightly part. when ghost is asleep, johnny can truly see simon riley. he sees the sweet, tender-hearted boy whose father smashed bottles across his face and threatened with exotic animals to teach him respect. the boy whose mother was always too high on pills to protect him or his brother. the young man that lost everything he knew and loved in one day. he sees the boy that the world let down… and he vows to never let anything or anyone ever take advantage of his heart again
