how it feels to accept you're fucked forever
i used to be super gung-ho about transandrophobia/transmisandry a couple months ago when i first cracked my egg and accepted my transness (i'm transmasc) because a lot of the talking points made some sense and also because i primarily understood it as an intersection of transphobia and misogyny towards trans men for transitioning + mal/degendering them to their agab. but then i realized these people were LITERAL about the androphobia/misandry part and i frankly just don't know how to feel. and a lot of those people turned out to be very hateful of transfems for literally no apparent reason? honestly i think the only net positive to come out of that whole thing was that they talk about exorsexism a lot when it tends to go ignored in our community.
You were duped, and that's okay, the idea is practically built around duping people like you, but you should try to make sure something similar can't happen to you again.
While I won't say that transfeminist Tumblr is good about talking about our non-binary sisters, I've criticized it harshly many times in the past, transmisanbros aren't actually much better. "Exorsexism" has many of the problems of the rest of their ideas, and discussions of it almost universally assume transmasculinity as the default way to be non-binary, which carries their misogyny into the idea.
Oppressive structures do not divide themselves on gender identity, a non-binary transmasculine person and a non-binary transfeminine person are not targeted equally, even if they have the exact same gender identity.
Happy you've gotten out of there, hate movement's aren't particularly fun things to be in.
