I haven’t made something in picrew for sooo long lol. This was fun to do!

I’ll start first: I am actually married. Irl. I have a husband. I know it’s surprising considering the Tumblr spouses, but my husband thinks it’s funny.

ive only mentioned breaking my arms like once right. i broke both elbows separately at separate times but within the same year. 8th grade was not a good time for me.

Hmm lemme think... Uhh... Oh, I don't eat meat. I don't usually call myself a vegetarian unless I need to state my diet, and it's not for any health or moral reason or anything, I just really don't like the taste or texture of meat and fish. But I do really like tofu a lot, that's the closest I'll get to meat.

I feel like that's to similar to grandprev's answer though so uhh...... I also ate paper when I was little. Or more accurately, I chewed on paper like it was gum. Lined paper tasted the best but I would take whatever paper I could get

I started playing around with them when I was 12ish and it’s been a hobby ever since (that and archery!)

I have a slight lisp that comes from the way my teeth sit in my mouth, it’s usually pretty unnoticeable, but occasionally my s sounds like an f 😔 (it gets worse when I am consciously aware of it)

I also have sensory issues and have to wear socks everywhere, specifically fluffy socks

Welcome to my little spectrum of lite! 🌈

The turtle brothers! I really like them. I don’t feel fully satisfied with my art style for them or for any TMNT version yet, but I’m trying. Rise definitely hit me in a different way. Even though I grew up with TMNT 2012, Rise was a unique experience.

I’ll admit something: I never really went deep into TMNT before. When I was little, a few hours before going to school, I’d watch an episode or another of TMNT 2012. I thought it was cool. I started liking Raph the most because I identified with him, especially because of the anger issues. I watched the episodes all out of order, sometimes repeating the same ones, but I never stopped to really dive deeper into it.

Then years went by without me watching anything Ninja Turtles related. I might’ve seen one thing or another over time, maybe just the live-action movie that came out, but nothing after that. Then, much later — long after all the ROTTMNT seasons and the movie — I saw some videos and edits from Rise. The animation style was incredible! It looked like an anime. It made me curious about the turtle world again.

I finally gathered the courage to watch it. At the time, I thought it was different. I knew Leonardo, the blue turtle, was the leader and the “older brother,” so seeing a version where the red one — Raph, already my favorite — was now the oldest and the leader made me fall even more in love with him. And even more because he wasn’t just that personification of anger and sarcasm, but loving and caring too. Plus, he was a gentle giant, which I’ve always loved!

And everything else — Leo, Donnie, Mikey, April, all of it! After that, I felt like revisiting the version I grew up with but never finished, the 2012 boys, and I finally immersed myself in this whole Ninja Turtles journey.

And it’s crazy to think I was once someone who hated Rise. I’m glad I gave it a chance, it really got me back into TMNT!
