i have this like. version of jaypoppy in my sick twisted mind where jay and poppy are close as apprentices (and oots) and have baby crushes on each other and then go off with their separate relationships (berrynose and poppyfrost are canon mates but i like to think jayfeather at least had a tiny crush on briarlight) and then when they die they reconnect and stuff but ANYWAYS DONT LOOK AT ME

Willowshine the Willowshine Gets her fur texture and color from her mama!!

She's one of the youngest Riverclan cats to make the journey to the lake, along with Minnowtail [kit], Pebblefoot [kit], and Tumblekit [kit] She's technically their aunt, but she's a kit around the same time, only a season older, so her big sister Dawnflower and mama Mosspelt end up raising the litters mostly together.

Quite soon after arriving at the lake, Minnow, Pebble, and Tumble [As well and Dawnflower and Beechpaw] get super sick after the kits play in poison. Tumblekit dies here. This is also the first scene where we see Willowkit showing an interest in medicine and volunteering in the med den. I imagine it gives her a sense of control in what feels like a helpless and awful situation and is what sets her on her life path moving forward. In mymind she also feels a sense of ingrained responsibility after helping to look after her younger niblings for most of her own kithood.
